We join you in thanksgiving to the Lord for all the blessings He has given, and we rejoice with you in your desire to give Him all credit and praise. It is good that you come before Him with a grateful heart, for in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23.
We agree with you in prayer for increasing order and organization in your kitchen and throughout your home, and for excellence and completion in the requirements of work and productivity in every area of life. We are reminded that God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, 1 Corinthians 14:33, and that all things should be done decently and in order, 1 Corinthians 14:40. We pray that as you commit your works to the Lord, your plans will be established, Proverbs 16:3, and that He will establish the work of your hands, Psalm 90:17.
We lift up your daughter and your son before the Lord. We pray for your daughter's healing, for help in her work and her schooling, and for protection in her marriage. We pray that her marriage would reflect the godly design where husbands love their wives even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, Ephesians 5:25, and that any form of abuse or harm would have no place, for love does not behave itself inappropriately and love suffers long and is kind, 1 Corinthians 13:4-5. We pray that both your daughter and your son will see themselves as God sees them, fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and as His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, Ephesians 2:10. We ask the Lord to close the doors that lead to harm and to open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections, for He is the one who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens, Revelation 3:7, and a great and effective door may be opened for them, 1 Corinthians 16:9. We pray for your son's safety on his motorcycle and we ask for wisdom and protection over him in all his travels, for the Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward and forevermore, Psalm 121:8, and He will keep you from all evil, He will keep your soul, Psalm 121:7. We also join you in praying that the Lord will direct him to his future wife. We pray he will pursue courtship with the goal of a lifelong marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, for we believe marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, and we pray he will seek a godly wife and guard himself in purity until that marriage, for marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, Hebrews 13:4, and you should abstain from sexual immorality, 1 Thessalonians 4:3.
We pray for freedom from generational illness and for healing in your family. We know the Lord is the one who forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:3, and who says I am the Lord who heals you, Exodus 15:26. In Christ we are a new creation and Christ redeemed us from the curse, Galatians 3:13, 2 Corinthians 5:17, and we ask for His healing touch upon your bodies and hearts, for He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, Jeremiah 30:17.
We bring before the Lord the trial you are working through and the unspoken requests you carry. We pray that you will count it all joy when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance, James 1:2-3, and that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28. Even when words fail, the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, Romans 8:26.
We agree with you for protection and deliverance from all evil, surrounding your home with His hedge of favor according to His promises. We claim that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1, that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17, that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We pray He will deliver you from evil, Matthew 6:13, and keep you safe in all travels, and that He who sits on the throne will make all things new, Revelation 21:5.
We pray that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength, Mark 12:30, and that He will empower you to love one another deeply. We ask that the fruit of the Spirit will increase in your home, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control, Galatians 5:22-23, and that your hearts and broken relationships will be healed, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3.
Father, we come together before You in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and through Him we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We ask You to pour out order, productivity, and excellence upon this home, to heal bodies and hearts, to protect this daughter's marriage and guide her work and schooling, to guard this son on his motorcycle and lead him to a godly wife who loves You, to close harmful doors and open good ones, to surround this family with Your protection in their home and travels, to deliver them from all evil, and to answer the trial and the unspoken needs according to Your perfect will. May Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. May all glory and praise and credit be given to You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
