We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up your finances and seeking His divine protection and wisdom. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we ask that You guard and guide every aspect of this dear one’s financial life.
Heavenly Father, we pray for Your mighty hand of protection over their accounts, shielding them from any schemes of the enemy. Just as You promised in Psalm 91:3-4, "For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart," we ask that You surround their finances with Your angels, thwarting any attempts of hackers or thieves. Lord, grant them wisdom to take every necessary precaution, to be diligent in safeguarding what You have entrusted to them, and to walk in the discernment that comes from Your Holy Spirit.
We also pray for Your divine wisdom in spending, saving, investing, and giving. Proverbs 3:9-10 tells us, "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." Father, help them to honor You with their finances, to be a cheerful giver as You love a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7), and to manage their resources with integrity and prudence. May they not fall into the love of money, which is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), but instead seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
Lord, we ask that You would bless their labor and multiply their efforts, that they may have enough to meet their needs and to generously support Your work. Teach them to be content in whatever circumstances they find themselves, as Paul learned to be (Philippians 4:11-12), and to trust in Your provision. May they never forget that their true treasure is in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal (Matthew 6:19-20).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or greed that may seek to take hold of their heart regarding finances. Instead, we declare that they will walk in the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that they will be a wise steward of all You have given them, using their resources to glorify You and advance Your kingdom.
In all these things, we trust in Your faithfulness, Lord. You are our Provider, our Protector, and our Guide. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for answering according to Your perfect will. May this dear one walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are in control, and may their life be a testimony to Your goodness and grace. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Eternal God withstanding everything that opposes itself against him, thrusting down the mighty from their seats, plucking off crowns from the heads of princes, degrading the escutcheons of nobles, trampling in the mire the fine linen and the scarlet of the rich, setting at nought the wisdom of the wise, convinces us that then only are we in a fit state to be filled with his fulness, to live in his life, to be wise with his wisdom, and to be glorious in his glory, when we are emptied of our own conceits.
He shall choose our inheritance for us. It is a great truth that God does choose the inheritance for his people, and in that book you would see how his steps were first of all sadly guided to Babylon, by being carried captive; and yet that from the degradation of his banishment there arises the grandeur of Daniel’s visions, and Daniel’s character is displayed in all its clearness, so that you must see that a wise God orders all. The lot is cast into the lap but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord. And if the disposal of the lot is the Lord’s whose is the arrangement of our whole life?
A saving knowledge of Christ is always personal. The man does not take it at second hand. He does not catch it up from what his mother told him. She may be the instrument, the happy instrument, but the man learns for himself, or else he does not know savingly. But, dear Friends, anything short of this is unworthy to be the great end of a Christian's life! Ah, but if you knew the gift of God, you would find other time and find another occupation for this time, rather than spending upon yourself what God claims to be his own.
He will even turn round and rail on this wise, "I cannot think how some of God's people can do as they do." Be wise now therefore, O ye kings; be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Your request for protection and wisdom with your finances is a small part of a far greater battle. Why tremble at the thought of a hacker when the devil himself prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour? Do not mistake the real threat. The enemy attacks most fiercely when we are isolated, relying on our own cleverness. But the sheep that stay within the fold of the Good Shepherd, banded together in faith, hear His voice and are secure. No one can snatch them out of His hand. Is your first anxiety the safety of your bank account, or the safety of your soul?
Do what prudence demands: secure your accounts, cancel what is weak. But do not think that worldly wisdom alone is your shield. The wisdom of this world, which trusts in firewalls and passwords, comes to nothing. The true wisdom is from above, hidden from the rulers of this age, but given to the perfect in Christ. If you are in Christ, you have access to a security that moth, rust, thieves, and hackers cannot touch. Where is your treasure? If it is stored in heaven, what hacker can break in? If your heart is set on earthly support, you will mourn every loss like a heathen who has no hope. But if your hope is in the risen Lord, you can say, "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord."

Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things, yes, even a roof and bread, will be added to you. Are you anxious? Hear the Lord Himself: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Not rest only from hackers, but rest from the crushing weight of anxiety about tomorrow. He does not promise to make you rich; He promises to place you in all security, in Himself.
True freedom is not a robust portfolio. True freedom is virtue, a conscience at peace, and the fear of God that makes you fear nothing else. Flee from the devil’s snare of greed and grasping. Run as one who has seized the prize: chastity, honesty, contentment, generosity. If you flee far enough, the enemy will cease to pursue. So spend as a steward, not an owner. Invest in the bellies of the poor, which yield an eternal return. Save, but store up a good foundation for the time to come. Give, and it will be given to you, pressed down, shaken together, running over. This is the wisdom of the perfect: to use the fleeting mammon to secure eternal dwellings.
Do all your due diligence with a clear head, but cast every final care upon Him who cares for you. Do not face these threats alone, but seek the counsel of the faithful, and let the church surround you. The One who came out of the temple to give Himself up for your sins knows your every need. He who went into the wilderness to be tempted for you will strengthen you against every assault. So be diligent, but stand firm in faith, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.
