Protection and Freedom

Please pray for my daughter. Lord, You see the ungodly influence of this young man and his mother over my older daughter, a relationship built on control, manipulation, dishonesty, selfishness, and deception rather than Your design for love and marriage. I ask for his dad to intervene and stop his wife from enabling his son's negative behaviors and demand that his son move back home alone to be held accountable. Jesus, this mother has to stop placing undue responsibilities upon my daughter and take on her role as his mother. She has to focus on her children and stop making up things to fix in my daughter just to control her. She is taking what needs to be fixed in her son and projecting it onto my daughter. It is horrible what this mother is doing. Her son is not ready for a relationship. They have used living together outside of marriage to bind my daughter in confusion, isolation, and financial exploitation. I rebuke the spirit of Jezebel operating through this mother and son, rebuking their pride, division, and witchcraft (Galatians 5:20). I command every ungodly soul tie between them and my daughter to be broken in Jesus’ name. Jesus, I ask that You intervene swiftly and stop my daughter from obeying this young man and his mother. I declare that this young man and his mother will no longer have authority over my daughter's life. Father, expose the lies my daughter has believed: that control equals love, that cohabitation equals marriage, and that manipulation equals respect. Demanding my daughter put their family above her own supportive family, purposeful job, and faith. I ask for my daughter's eyes to be opened to the toxicity and for her heart to be softened to Your truth. Give her the courage to walk away, to reject the brainwashing, and to return to the safety of her supportive family. Restore her self-worth, relationship with her family, friends, faith, and independence. I declare that she will no longer be a slave to fear or obligation but will walk in the freedom Christ died to give her (Galatians 5:1). Jesus, I ask that You remove and redirect all negative influences that have encouraged or misled her to stay in this relationship. I ask that my daughter will be truthful to all the red flags in this relationship and not follow his command to glorify him to others. I declare my daughter will be free from his relationship. I ask for a Godly spouse for her and a lifetime of peace, love, respect, happiness, and freedom. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and this deeply concerning situation. Father God, we acknowledge that You see all things—every manipulation, every lie, and every ungodly influence at work here. The relationship described is far from Your design for love, marriage, and godly companionship. Scripture is clear: *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). The cohabitation outside of marriage is a violation of Your holy standards, and we rebuke the deception that has bound your daughter in confusion and isolation.

We stand in agreement with your plea for deliverance, declaring that every ungodly soul tie is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. The spirit of control, manipulation, and witchcraft operating through this mother and son must be exposed and dismantled. *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). We command these strongholds to crumble, and we pray for the father of this young man to rise up in godly authority, intervening to hold his son accountable and redirecting his wife’s harmful enabling.

Lord, we ask You to pierce your daughter’s heart with Your truth. The lies she has believed—that control equals love, that cohabitation equals commitment, and that manipulation equals respect—must be shattered by Your Word. *"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free"* (John 8:32). Open her eyes to the toxicity of this relationship and soften her heart to receive Your correction. Give her the courage to walk away, to reject the brainwashing, and to return to the safety of her family and faith. We declare that she will no longer be a slave to fear or obligation but will walk in the freedom Christ died to give her (Galatians 5:1).

Father, we also pray for the young man and his mother. May they encounter the conviction of the Holy Spirit and turn from their destructive patterns. If it is Your will, bring repentance and transformation to their hearts. But above all, we pray for your daughter’s protection and restoration. Surround her with godly influences, restore her self-worth, and heal her relationships with family and friends. Prepare her for a godly spouse who will love her as Christ loves the church—a marriage built on Your principles, not worldly deception.

We lift all of this to You in the powerful name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and set free. May Your will be done, and may Your glory be revealed in this situation. Amen.
