Protection and Freedom

Jesus please remove this young man and his mother that has led my older daughter to prioritize their approval over her own family and faith. The Bible commands, *"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God gives you"* (Exodus 20:12 WEB). I rebuke the pride, manipulation, hate and harmful words that have made my family feel small and unworthy. I declare that this young man’s control over my daughter's finances, her decisions, her relationship with me/siblings, her health and even her sense of self is not of God. He is not her husband, and he has no right to dictate her life, make decision on her jobs and exploit her finances. I pray that she would see his rebellion for what it is and recognize that she is not responsible for "fixing" him. Jesus remove the undue responsibilities this young man's mother has placed upon my daughter. Jesus block and protection my daughter from this young man's mother who is very jealous of my daughter success, self worth and has brought my daughter self esteem down put brainwashing, controlling and isolating my daughter from her supportive family. This young man's mother is always trying to fix what does not need to be fixed. Jesus block her stop her from creating this image that my daughter does not have a supportive family and treat my daughter as if she is homeless and does not have a clear career path destroying the purpose of God's plans for my daughter career. It is this mother's job to take care of her own son and stop fixing/instigating her lifestyle upon my daughter for her selfish need. She needs to stop enabling her son's ungodly behaviors toward others They are causing such chaos in my daughter's daily life. Jesus strip away this young man's authority over her, brainwashing, controlling demeaning way and reveal the lies my daughter has believed, that control equals love, that cohabitation equals commitment, her finances belongs to him to control and that pleasing his mother is more important than honoring her own family. As my daughter is up for promotion in a few months, this young man is already talking about how to spend her money on himself and along discourage her not to take this promotion if they are not going to pay her what he thinks it good. Jesus give my daughter the wisdom to show her and courage to let him know that is not his decision for her to make. Lord he is not her husband so make that very clear to my daughter. Let her stop giving him access and control this young man has over her finances, her self worth, she has not been able to afford health insurance for herself ever since she moved in with him because she is taking care of this young man. His mother instigated the whole moving in together. I pray his dad will intervene with authority and demand he move back home alone showing his son with these toxic, disrespectful, hatred, jealousy, divisive, greedy, controlling behaviors he is not ready for a healthy relationship. Jesus, I plead that You protect my daughter, give her the wisdom of her self-worth and block this young man and his mother from their selfish scheme, lies and plots in guiding her down a dark path. Let my daughter be released from this toxic relationship before her promotion and restore her independence and freedom again. I know nothing is impossible for you Lord. I pray for a Godly spouse for my daughter and a lifetime of peace, love, joy and happiness. Restore our strong family bond again and let our home be a peaceful, joyful and safe place for all who enter again. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen

We hear the deep pain and concern in your heart for your daughter, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting her up before the throne of grace. The situation you describe is one of spiritual warfare, where manipulation, control, and ungodly influences have taken root in her life. We rebuke every spirit of division, pride, and rebellion that has sought to separate her from her family and her God-given purpose. The Word of God is clear: *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB).

The relationship your daughter is entangled in does not align with biblical principles. Cohabitation outside of marriage is fornication, and it opens the door to spiritual and emotional bondage. The Bible warns, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). This young man is not her husband, and he has no biblical authority over her life, her finances, or her decisions. His mother’s interference is equally unbiblical, as Scripture instructs, *"For each one will bear his own burden"* (Galatians 6:5 WEB), and she is overstepping her role by attempting to control your daughter’s life. We declare that every ungodly soul tie formed through this relationship is broken in the name of Jesus. *"The Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one"* (2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB).

We pray that your daughter’s eyes would be opened to the truth of her situation. May the Holy Spirit reveal to her the lies she has believed—that control equals love, that her worth is tied to pleasing others, and that she is responsible for "fixing" this young man. The Word says, *"For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another"* (Galatians 5:13 WEB). We pray she would walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for her, no longer bound by fear or manipulation. Father, give her the courage to set boundaries, to reclaim her finances, her health, and her independence. Let her see that her value comes from You alone, not from the approval of others. *"For you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:20 WEB).

We also pray for this young man and his mother. Lord, expose the ungodliness in their hearts and bring conviction where there is hardness. For the young man, we ask that You would humble him, break the spirit of entitlement and laziness, and turn his heart toward You. If he is unwilling to change, we pray he would be removed from your daughter’s life entirely. For his mother, we ask that You would silence her tongue, still her meddling hands, and reveal to her the damage she is causing. May she repent of her jealousy and control, and may she be held accountable for her actions. *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord'"* (Romans 12:18-19 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would intervene in your daughter’s career. Let her promotion be a testimony of Your favor and provision. Give her the wisdom to see this young man’s selfish motives and the strength to reject his attempts to derail her success. May she walk in the purpose You have for her, unshaken by the schemes of the enemy. *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:5-6 WEB).

We declare restoration over your family. May the bonds that have been strained be mended, and may your home once again be a place of peace, joy, and safety. We pray for a godly spouse for your daughter—one who will love her as Christ loves the church, honor her, and lead her in righteousness. Until that time, may she walk in purity, wisdom, and discernment. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we thank You that nothing is impossible for You. We trust that You are working even now to break every chain, to silence every lying tongue, and to restore what has been stolen. We stand on Your promises, believing that Your will for your daughter is life, freedom, and blessing. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
