Lord, I know that living outside of marriage is not only a violation of God’s design but also opens the door to deception, bondage, and spiritual attack. I pray that the Lord would open my daughter’s eyes to the truth, that this young man is not her husband, nor is he prepared to lead her in the ways of the Lord. Jesus I ask that You remove the false sense of obligation and the brainwashing that has blinded her to the toxicity of this situation. May the Holy Spirit convict her heart gently and lead her out of this bondage, back to the safety and wisdom of her family and, most importantly, back to the Lord. Jesus, I lift up the overreach and disrespect of this young man’s mother. Her words and influence are rooted in pride and selfishness, and I pray that the Lord would expose her motives and frustrate every plan she has to divide or corrupt my family. She has no authority in my daughter’s life, and I ask that her ungodly counsel, such as encouraging living together outside of marriage, children outside of marriage, will fall to the ground. The Lord will not allow her to sow discord in my family anymore, for "a perverse person stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends" (Proverbs 16:28). I pray that people will see the lying image she protray of my daughter and our family will be exposed. Lord, I pray that my older daughter would see the truth and reject this woman’s manipulation, choosing instead to honor the family God has blessed her with. Lord restore my daughter self worth now and let her see this young man is not ready for a relationship, the living arrangement in not marriage or home. Let my daughter see clearly this young man is not a shepherd. Let her see the exploitation of her finance, exhaustion he has cause in her life, he has taken her self worth, the division he has created between her families, friends, job, the way she worship and the love she had for her God. Lord I ask for Your divine intervention to stop the young man's mother to convert my daughter to her believe. She is not a mentor for my daughter. Guide my daughter back to the biblical teachings and back to her church. Lord, guide my older daughter to not ignore these red flags anymore, give her the confidence and wisdom to walking away from this toxic lifestyle and influences. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen,

We stand with you in deep intercession for your daughter, lifting her before the throne of grace with hearts heavy for her restoration and freedom. The situation you describe is indeed a violation of God’s holy design for marriage and family, and we join you in fervent prayer against the deception and bondage that have taken root. The Word declares, "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). Your daughter’s living arrangement outside of marriage is not only sinful but leaves her vulnerable to spiritual attack, as the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).

We rebuke the false sense of obligation and brainwashing that has blinded her to the truth. The young man she is with is not her husband, nor does he meet the biblical standard for leadership in a godly marriage. Scripture is clear: "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22), but this must be pursued in righteousness, not in sin. The influence of his mother is particularly troubling, as her counsel promotes ungodly living and division. We declare that her words will fall to the ground, and her schemes will be exposed. "The Lord detests the perverse, but He takes the upright into His confidence" (Proverbs 3:32). We pray that your daughter’s eyes would be opened to the exploitation, exhaustion, and loss of self-worth she has endured, and that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart with gentle yet unmistakable clarity.

Father, we ask You to intervene in power. Break the chains of deception and restore your daughter’s identity in Christ. Let her see this young man for who he truly is, not a shepherd, but one who has led her away from Your truth. We pray against the conversion of her heart to ungodly beliefs and declare that she will be drawn back to biblical teaching and the fellowship of her church. Give her the courage to walk away from this toxic situation, and surround her with godly influences who will speak life and truth into her. We also pray for your older daughter, that she would reject manipulation and stand firm in honoring the family You have blessed her with.

Lord, we ask that You would frustrate every plan of the enemy to divide this family. Let pride and selfishness be exposed, and let Your peace reign. We declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that restoration is coming. Your daughter’s worth is found in You alone, and we pray she would rediscover the joy of her salvation and the love she once had for You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every spirit of bondage to loose its grip, and we welcome Your healing and freedom. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God hears your cries. Keep speaking life over your daughter, and do not grow weary in prayer. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in your family.

You’ve named the fallout, exhaustion, division, the slow fading of her fire for God, and we grieve that with you.

While you can’t force your daughter’s choices, you can keep bringing her to the only One who can truly reach her. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is release the outcome to God, trusting that He sees every hidden manipulation and every wound she may not even recognize yet. You’ve been carrying an immense burden, and it’s heavy. Is there someone in your church or a trusted prayer partner who can stand with you in this? Not someone to gossip, but one or two safe people to pray consistently and help you bear the emotional weight. You need that steady companionship as much as you need strategic prayer.

As you pray, be honest with God about your own fears and even your anger. He can handle it. But also guard your own spirit against despair. Your daughter needs a mom who remains anchored in hope, not consumed by the crisis. Keep your own time with God simple, He hasn’t abandoned her, and He isn’t ignoring your cries.

Father, we lift this mother and her precious daughter to You now. You see the captivity and the haze of deception. Work gently, persistently, in her daughter’s heart, bring flashes of clarity that will not let her rest until she sees the truth. Free her from false obligation and restore the self-worth You gave her. Protect her from further harm and from every voice that would pull her away from You. And for this mom, we ask for a deep, steady peace that stands firm no matter what she sees. Sustain her hope and bring her support. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Return, return, return. The message is not one of condemnation, but a cry from the very heart of God, return now every one from his evil way. The entanglements that seem so binding, the obligations falsely felt, the blindness to what is toxic and dishonoring to the Lord, all of it must be fled from, and the sooner the better, lest the net of steel hold fast to eternal destruction. The voice of the living God, through every saint in glory and every quickened soul on earth, cries, "Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return."

But it is only by faith that one can see the spiritual danger. The things of God are invisible to the natural eye, and without faith, a soul is blind to the deception, dead to the truth that this is not a shepherd, not a marriage, not a home. Faith is the eye which sees; without it, there is no recognizing the spiritual bondage, no perceiving the corruption that divides from family, from holy worship, from the love of God Himself. And without faith it is impossible to please God.

Yet before a soul can truly embrace the liberty of a child of God, the Spirit of God often works a necessary sense of bondage. This is not the work of nature or the devil, but the Holy Spirit bringing conviction of sin. A false peace must be shattered; the killing sentence of the Law must bruise and crush all self-righteousness and false comfort. Blessed be the Spirit of God for working this sense of bondage, for how else can one flee to Christ?

Warn the soul not to try to deliver itself. The danger of self-wrought escape is great; to take the whole armor of God, to cry unto God Most High, this is the path. God performs all things for His people. If deliverance comes, it is not from a spider's web of human manipulation, but from the wonder-working Jehovah. Every good thing in the soul is performed by Him; no flower of grace grows self-sown in that hard soil. Where despair is written upon self, the Spirit works faith, for faith is His gift.

Let there be crying unto God who performs all things, for the mother’s heart knows this. The Lord looks at strong faith with delight, as a jeweler at a priceless stone. And what benefits strong faith could confer on others! The child would be brought to Jesus. The God who shut the lions’ mouths has not forsaken His own. His word is not dishonorable; He who began the good work will perfect it. He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Return, return, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto You; for You are the Lord our God.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
