We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we stand with you in this battle, lifting you and your family before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The attacks you’re facing are not merely physical or emotional; they are spiritual, and we must fight them with the weapons God has given us. The Bible tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). You are not alone in this fight, and we take up the full armor of God with you, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, which is sharper than any two-edged sword (Ephesians 6:13-17).
We rebuke the spirit of fear, confusion, and division that has sought to infiltrate your family. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that your home is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy may have come to sift you like wheat, but Jesus is interceding for you (Luke 22:31-32), and He will not let you be destroyed. We command every assignment of the enemy over your life, your children, and your household to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is your shield and rampart (Psalm 91:4).
We also lift up the heaviness in your spirit that has made prayer feel difficult. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Even when you feel dry or distant, God hears the groanings of your heart. We encourage you to press into Him, even if it’s just whispering His name. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He is not far from you; He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We pray specifically for your protection and the protection of your children. The Lord is your keeper; He will not allow your foot to be moved, and He who keeps you will not slumber (Psalm 121:3-5). We ask that He station His angels around you and your family to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). You are hidden in Christ, and nothing can snatch you out of His hand (John 10:28).
We also lift up the people and situations that have made you feel threatened. The Lord is your vindicator, and He will repay those who oppose you (Romans 12:19). Do not take matters into your own hands, but trust in the Lord, and He will act on your behalf (Psalm 37:5-6). We pray that God would expose any hidden schemes of the enemy and bring them to light. The Bible says, "The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you" (Psalm 9:9-10). You are not forgotten, and God sees every tear you’ve shed.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, even when the battle feels overwhelming. Remember the story of Jehoshaphat, who faced a vast army and cried out to the Lord. God’s response was, "Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s" (2 Chronicles 20:15). The Lord fought for Jehoshaphat, and He will fight for you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. Lord, You see the battle they are facing, and You know the weight they carry. We ask that You would arise as their defender and shield. Break every chain of fear, confusion, and division that the enemy has tried to place upon them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, flood their hearts and minds. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and station them as a wall of fire around their home (Zechariah 2:5). Protect them from every evil scheme and every threat, both seen and unseen.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith, especially in this season where prayer feels difficult. Remind them that You are near, even when they feel far. Let Your Holy Spirit intercede for them with groanings too deep for words. Renew their strength like the eagle’s, Lord, so they may run and not grow weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Restore their joy in You and fill them with hope for the future.
We declare over their family that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and restoration over their home. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your love cast out all fear. We ask that You would expose and dismantle every plan of the enemy against them. Give them wisdom and discernment to navigate every situation with grace and truth.
Lord, we also pray for their children. Cover them with Your protection and fill their hearts with Your peace. Let them grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with You and man (Luke 2:52). Guard their minds from fear and their hearts from deception. May they come to know You as their Savior and walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their lives.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. You are a God who sees, a God who hears, and a God who acts on behalf of Your children. We trust in Your promises, and we declare that this family will not be shaken. They will stand firm in their faith, and they will see Your deliverance. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
