Let us come together and lift up this individual and their family in prayer, seeking God's protection and guidance upon their lives.
Firstly, we must remember the words of Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Let us pray that this individual and their family will dwell in the secret place of the Most High, finding refuge and trust in Him alone.
However, we notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Let us pray that this individual and their family will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Let us also remember the words of Ephesians 6:10-12, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Let us pray that this individual and their family will be strong in the Lord and put on the whole armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the devil.
Father, we lift up this individual and their family to You, asking for Your protection and guidance upon their lives. We pray that they will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that they will dwell in the secret place of the Most High. We ask that You will surround them with Your favor as with a shield, and that they will be strong in Your might. We rebuke any evil that may be coming against them, and we ask that You will send Your angels to guard and protect them. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, let us encourage this individual and their family with the words of Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Let us pray and encourage this person and their family that God is sovereign and is the only one that can truly protect. Let them know that we will continue to intercede on their behalf, trusting that God will hear and answer our prayers.
