Lord God Almighty in Heaven I'm praying for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over my place where I stay at please don't let me get kicked out i plead the blood of Jesus christ over my home continue to show me favor with my landlord give her a tender heart towards me let her have compassion give me discernment to recognize when she is trying to deceive me allow me to get rested up today from all distractions and hindrances keep everyone away from disturbing my sleep today in Jesus mighty name Amen

We hear your cry for protection and favor, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your situation before the throne of God Almighty. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He promises to be a shield to those who trust in Him. We declare Psalm 91:9-11 over your home: "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."

We pray for a hedge of protection around your home, as Job experienced when God set a boundary that the enemy could not cross (Job 1:10). May the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), cover your dwelling place and shield you from any schemes or deception. Lord, we ask that You soften your landlord’s heart toward you, replacing any hardness with compassion and understanding. Give her a spirit of fairness and kindness, and let her see you through the eyes of Christ’s love.

We also pray for discernment for you, that the Holy Spirit would reveal any hidden motives or deception, as it is written in 1 John 2:20: "You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge." May you walk in wisdom and clarity, recognizing truth from falsehood. Father, we ask that You grant this dear one rest today, free from distractions and disturbances. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

However, we must also gently address a concern in your prayer. While we appreciate your plea to the Lord God Almighty and your mention of the blood of Jesus, we want to encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your promise to be a refuge and strength for those who trust in You. Lord, we ask that You surround this dear one’s home with Your divine protection, building a wall of fire around it as You did for Your people in Zechariah 2:5. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their life, and their circumstances. Let it speak life, favor, and deliverance. Soften the heart of their landlord, Lord, and fill her with Your love and compassion. Give this dear one discernment to recognize truth and wisdom to navigate this situation with grace. Grant them rest today, free from fear and disturbance, and let Your peace reign in their heart.

We also ask, Lord, that You draw this one closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, reveal Your love and salvation to them in a powerful way. Let them know that You are their Protector, Provider, and Savior. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we declare that no plan of the enemy will succeed against them.

While we pray for supernatural favor, we also remember that God often moves through His people to meet urgent needs. We were reminded of a story from a pastor who encountered a mother of four about to be evicted in winter, with no utilities and no help. The pastor didn’t just pray; he found her a new apartment, rallied church members to help her move, and connected her with a social worker for food and money. In just one day, her whole situation shifted, not by ignoring the problem, but by bringing practical support alongside fervent prayer.

We’d gently encourage you, if you haven’t already, to reach out to a local church or a Christian community center. They can often help with housing advocacy, legal guidance on tenant rights, or even temporary financial aid so you’re not navigating this alone. Having someone walk with you can also help with the discernment you asked for, a second set of eyes when you’re not sure if you’re being deceived. It’s not a lack of faith; it’s how the body of Christ works.

As you rest, know we are praying for you now:

Father, we lift this person to You. Thank You that You are a refuge and a strong tower. We ask for a hedge of protection around their home and a spirit of peace in their heart that surpasses the threat. Grant them real, refreshing rest today, and keep distractions and disruptions far from them. Give them wisdom to navigate their dealings with the landlord, a clear mind to see any hidden motives, and a practical path forward. Provide the right help, whether directly or through Your church. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The house you fear to lose is not your own; it is held on a lease with a clause you did not write. The Great Landlord of all the earth has set your bounds and the time of your habitation. Your cry ascends to Him who holds the key of every dwelling, and no mortal landlord can revoke what He decrees. You plead the blood over your threshold, and well you should, for that blood is a savor of rest to the Lord, a covering more sure than any legal document. Yet let me press this upon your heart: the rest you seek from the disturbance of eviction must be found in resting in the Lord Himself, not merely in remaining under that roof. For we who have believed do enter into rest, a present rest, given now, not contingent upon a landlord’s compassion. The favor you entreat for her heart is in the hand of Him who can turn it as a watercourse. Your home is also the place of His entering; He has right of access to the house you occupy. Will you not, then, let your mind be like the mind of Christ in this trial? That is the rest on the wing, the repose of service with the yoke upon you. Be content in your earthly lot, for ambition and fear alike spoil rest.

As for the physical rest you crave, to be spared from all disturbances, this too is a mercy from the Lord, who knows our frame. It is not a sinful thing to ask for a season of quiet, that the weary brain might be restored. Yet remember that the rest of a garden comes not from the absence of all labor, but from fruitfulness in the rest. Even your sleep is a trust, a time when you may cast your burden upon Him whose everlasting arms are beneath you. You ask for discernment to unmask deception; this wisdom is found in the place of rest, at the feet of the Master. The enemy’s tongue may be sharpened, and slander may muddy the stream, but the strictest walking, with eyes fixed on Jesus, will be your shield. Trust and you shall rest. Return unto your rest, O tried soul, by resigning the whole tenure of your life to the Lord. If the lease be cut short, He will have prepared a Beulah land for you even in the removal. Your true home is where God finds His rest, in His Son, and in you as you are one with Him. Take the Lord as your rest, and no landlord’s notice can cast you out from that eternal tenancy.
