We stand with you in faith, lifting your home, your safety, and your precious fur baby before the Lord as this winter storm approaches. The Scriptures remind us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He commands His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11), and we trust in His mighty protection over you.
Father God, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your divine covering over this dear one’s home. Shield the structure from the winds, the cold, and any damage that may seek to harm it. Keep the power steady and strong, Lord, for without it, the cold can become dangerous. We ask that You surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that they are never truly alone—You are with them always (Matthew 28:20).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and preparation. Guide their hands as they ready their home and gather supplies, and grant them calm in the midst of any fear. Remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May they rest in the assurance that You are their shelter in the storm.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or dread that may try to take hold, declaring that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). You are the God who calms the seas and stills the winds, and we trust You to calm this storm or calm Your child within it. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Protector. Amen.
