We hear the deep pain and confusion in your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of God, lifting up every broken piece of your story. The wounds you carry from childhood—abuse, betrayal, and the violation of innocence—are not unseen by the Lord. He collects every tear and knows the truth even when others have lied to cover their sins. We rebuke the darkness that has sought to steal your identity, your dignity, and your livelihood. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
First, we must address the grievous sin of what was done to you and your siblings. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality, including prostitution and the exploitation of children, is an abomination before God. Those who perpetrated these acts will answer to Him unless they repent. "For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:14). We pray for conviction to fall upon them, that they may turn from their wickedness and seek forgiveness. But we also pray for your healing, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
You mentioned feeling as though your identity has been stolen. Scripture tells us that our true identity is found in Christ. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17). The enemy may have sought to define you by the trauma of your past, but God calls you His beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We pray that you would come to know the depth of His love for you, that you would be rooted and grounded in it, and that it would restore every part of your life that has been broken.
Regarding your business and the injustices you’ve faced, we declare that the Lord is your provider and your defender. "The Lord is my shepherd. I shall lack nothing" (Psalm 23:1). We rebuke the schemes of the enemy to steal from you and pray that God would restore what has been taken. "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten" (Joel 2:25). We ask the Lord to expose every lie, every act of fraud, and every ungodly alliance that has sought to harm you. May He bring justice and vindication in His perfect timing.
We also want to gently encourage you to seek godly counsel and support. Healing from such deep wounds often requires the help of those trained to walk alongside survivors of abuse. The Lord can use therapists, pastors, and trusted believers to help you process the pain and find restoration. "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established" (Proverbs 15:22).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who has endured so much pain. Lord, You see the wounds of the past, the lies that have been spoken, and the injustices that have been committed. We ask that You would bring healing to every broken place in their soul. Restore their identity in You, Lord, and let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made. Break the chains of shame and guilt that the enemy has tried to place upon them, for You did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we pray for justice. Expose every hidden sin and bring to light the truth that has been buried. We ask that You would restore what has been stolen—whether it be their sense of self, their business, or their peace. Let Your hand of provision and protection be upon them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we also pray for those who have sinned against them. We ask that You would bring conviction to their hearts and lead them to repentance. If they do not turn from their wickedness, we trust that You will judge them accordingly. But for this dear one, we pray for complete healing and restoration. Surround them with Your love, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We thank You, Father, that You are a God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun in them. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
You are not alone in this journey. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep pressing into Him, and allow His love to mend the broken places in your heart. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, for He is the only One who can truly restore and redeem all that has been lost. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). He is waiting with open arms to welcome you into His family.
