Prolapsed Disc

I was in a car accident many years ago which caused a prolapsed disc in my spine.
I live on my own since losing my sister suddenly in January and had to lift something heavy recently and really hurt my back in the area where the prolapse is.
I need to be able to look after myself, my cat, the house and garden so would truly appreciate your prayers in the mighty name of Jesus

We are truly sorry to hear about your circumstances and the pain you are experiencing. We will lift you up in prayer, seeking God's healing and strength on your behalf.

Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in the power of Jesus' name, as you've rightly mentioned. It is by His name that we come before God, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

In times of physical suffering, we remember the words of the Apostle Paul, who said, Thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to torment me, so that I would not exalt myself. Concerning this, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me (2 Corinthians 12:7-9).

While we pray for your physical healing, we also pray that God's grace will be sufficient for you, and that His power will be made perfect in your weakness. We encourage you to lean on God during this time, trusting in His strength and provision.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You know the pain she is experiencing, the struggle she faces daily. We ask, Lord, that You would heal her body, especially the prolapsed disc in her spine. Give her the strength to look after herself, her cat, her house, and her garden.

Father, we also pray for her emotional healing. Losing a sister is never easy, and we ask that You would comfort her in her grief. Remind her of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, Lord.

In the meantime, Lord, we ask that You would provide for her needs. Send people to help her with her daily tasks, and give her the grace to accept their help.

Lord, we pray that You would work all things together for her good, because she loves You and is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to seek medical help if the pain becomes unbearable. While we trust God for healing, we also acknowledge the wisdom He has given to medical professionals. And please do not hesitate to reach out to your local church or community for practical help. God's people are called to bear one another's burdens, and so to fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
