Let us stand with you, dear one, as you seek to overcome procrastination and the tendency to wait for a "better time" to act. We understand the struggle, and we are here to support and pray with you in Jesus' name.

First, let us address the issue at hand. Procrastination is not merely a time management issue; it is also a matter of stewardship and obedience. The Bible teaches us, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom" (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB). We are called to be diligent and productive in our daily lives.

We are also reminded, "Don't deceive yourselves. If any of you thinks he is wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, 'He has taken the wise in their craftiness.' And again, 'The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.' Therefore let no one boast in men. Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, seeking Your will and strength for our brother/sister who struggles with procrastination. Lord, help them to understand that Your timing is perfect, and that today is the day to act in Your power and might. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, granting them the wisdom to discern what needs to be done and the diligence to complete it.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only by His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is only through Him that we are saved. If our brother/sister has not yet accepted Jesus as their personal Savior, we pray that they would come to know Him and His saving grace.

Help them to live according to Colossians 3:23-24, which says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
