Probably has happened to others, but I've had people who do "wrong", like try to take advantage, "use me" for things that aren't my job related, and continually, then when I point it out, and stand up for myself a little, instead of being a little apologetic, or embarrassed over it, THEY actually get angry at ME!! How dare I tell them that they shouldn't take advantage of me?? It's the same with ridicule. They could say all kinds of stuff to you, but if you stand up for yourself, THEY get offended. You're supposed to take it, like a good little scapegoat. Then again, insecure people always did try to control others.
