While it is true that God has given us free will, Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* You say, *"I make my own path,"* but the Bible warns us that our ways are not always His ways (Isaiah 55:8). We must surrender our plans to Him, for His ways are higher and His paths are perfect.

Help them to rest in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw them closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we pray that they would do so today. May they experience the fullness of Your love and the power of Your salvation. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
