We join with you in standing firmly on the promise of our Lord, who declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty assurance we have in Him! You have done well to bring this request before the Lord, acknowledging His sovereignty and seeking His protection in the name of Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. He is our shield, our strong tower, and our ever-present help in times of trouble.
We are deeply encouraged by your faith, and we lift you, your home, and your beloved dogs up in prayer, asking the Lord to surround you all with His divine hedge of protection. The psalmist reminds us in Psalm 91:9-11, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* What a comfort to know that the Lord Himself has assigned His heavenly hosts to watch over you and all that concerns you. We pray that His angels would encamp around your home, your workplace, and everywhere your feet tread, guarding you from every scheme of the enemy.
For your workplace, we pray for the Lord’s covering over you, that He would expose and thwart any plans of wickedness aimed at you. Proverbs 2:7-8 tells us, *"He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints."* We ask that the Lord would grant you wisdom and discernment to navigate any challenges, and that He would place a guard over your mouth and actions, so that you would walk in integrity and be a light in that place. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray that the Lord would fill you with His perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fear is not from the Lord, and we rebuke any spirit of fear that may try to take hold of you. Instead, we pray that you would be filled with the boldness and confidence that comes from knowing who you are in Christ—a child of the Most High God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Let this truth be your strength and your song, even in the midst of uncertainty.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). We ask that You would go before this dear one, making crooked paths straight and shutting the mouths of those who seek to devise evil. Lord, let Your justice prevail, and let Your will be done in every situation. We pray for a supernatural peace to flood their heart, knowing that You are in control. Protect their mind from anxious thoughts, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their Provider, Protector, and Peace.
We also lift up their two dogs, asking that You would keep them safe from harm, sickness, and any danger. You care for all of Your creation, and we thank You for the comfort and companionship these animals provide. Guard them as You would guard all that belongs to Your children.
Finally, we encourage you to continue to put on the full armor of God daily, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. Stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace, and the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and pray in the Spirit on all occasions. This is how we resist the enemy, and he will flee from us (James 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your unfailing love and protection. We lift up our sister before You, asking that You would be her refuge and strength, her ever-present help in trouble. Lord, surround her and her home with Your divine protection. Place Your angels around her, her dogs, and her workplace, guarding them from every evil scheme and harm. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her be condemned. Fill her with Your peace and courage, knowing that You are sovereign over all things.
We pray for wisdom and discernment as she navigates her workplace, that she would walk in integrity and be a light for Your glory. Shut the mouths of the wicked, Lord, and frustrate the plans of those who seek to do harm. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your will be done in every situation.
Father, we thank You for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We ask that You would go before her, making her paths straight and her steps sure. Protect her mind from fear and anxiety, and let her rest in the knowledge that You are her Provider and Protector. We also ask for Your protection over her dogs, keeping them safe and healthy under Your care.
Strengthen her in Your might, Lord, and help her to stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Let her be clothed in the full armor of God, ready to resist the enemy and see him flee. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
