We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister and her family in earnest prayer. Heavenly Father, we first acknowledge that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask for Your healing touch upon our sister who is in the hospital battling low oxygen, high blood pressure, blood clots, and other afflictions. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We declare Your promise from Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this truth, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen her body, Lord, and restore her to full health.
We also lift up her sisters who are battling cancer. Father, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We ask for Your healing power to flow through their bodies, destroying every cancerous cell and restoring them to wholeness. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke the spirit of fear and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we also bring before You the relational tensions and misunderstandings within this family. We ask for Your wisdom and discernment to guide each person involved. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." We pray that You would soften hearts and open lines of communication. Help them to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to extend grace and forgiveness to one another, just as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). We rebuke any spirit of division, gossip, or misunderstanding, and we declare unity and peace in this family, for where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
Father, we also lift up the dreams and desires of this sister’s heart. You have plans for her, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You restore and renew those dreams, aligning them with Your perfect will. Let her walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her life, free from fear or hindrance. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17) and that she will walk in divine protection and provision. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let her family be a testimony of Your love, care, and support for one another.
Lord, we must address the importance of salvation and the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. We pray that this family would come to know You more deeply, surrendering their lives fully to Jesus as Lord and Savior. For those who have not yet made that decision, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw them near, revealing the truth of the Gospel and the love of Christ, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life (John 3:16).
We also rebuke any ungodly soul ties, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may be hindering this family. Ephesians 4:31-32 tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We declare that forgiveness and reconciliation would flow in this family, breaking every chain of past hurts and misunderstandings.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would bind this family together with cords of love that cannot be broken. Let them support, encourage, and uplift one another all the days of their lives. May their bond be a reflection of Your love for the Church, a love that is patient, kind, not envious or boastful, and always hopes and perseveres (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). We declare that this family will walk in Your blessings, favor, and protection, now and forevermore.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
