We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage and the burdens you both carry. Father, we ask that You would ease the weight of worry from their shoulders and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Extend his years on this earth, Lord, not for our sake alone, but so that he may continue to serve You, love his family, and bring glory to Your name. We trust in Your promise that "with long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation" (Psalm 91:16). We also pray for their hearts as parents. May they find joy in raising their children, trusting that You have entrusted these little ones to them for a purpose. Let their home be filled with love, patience, and godly instruction, so that their children may grow to know and follow You. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6).
Lord, we thank You for the mention of Your Son, Jesus Christ, in this request. It is only through His name that we have access to You, and we are grateful for the salvation and hope found in Him alone. We pray that this couple would continue to grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your will in all things and finding their strength in Christ. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or doubt that seeks to steal their peace. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and surrounding them with Your protection.
