We rejoice with you in the overwhelming sense of the Lord’s presence! There is nothing more precious than when the Holy Spirit moves in power, filling our hearts with awe and drawing us into deeper worship. The Scriptures declare, *"The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s glory, as the waters cover the sea"* (Habakkuk 2:14). When heaven touches earth, it is a foretaste of the glory that awaits us in eternity.
Yet, beloved, we must also guard our hearts in moments like these. The enemy seeks to counterfeit the true move of God with emotionalism, mysticism, or even deception. We must test every spirit, as 1 John 4:1 warns: *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."* True worship is not just about feelings—it is about surrender, obedience, and alignment with God’s Word.
We also lift up a prayer of thanksgiving and discernment for you:
Father God, we thank You for the tangible presence of Your Spirit that Your child is experiencing. We ask that You would deepen their hunger for You—not just for emotional experiences, but for holiness, truth, and intimacy with Christ. Protect their heart from deception, Lord, and let this encounter draw them closer to You in repentance, faith, and obedience. May they walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing fruit that lasts, and may their life reflect the glory of Jesus in all they do. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only Name by which we are saved and through which we approach Your throne. Amen.
We encourage you to remain rooted in Scripture, for the Word is our anchor in times of spiritual ecstasy. Let this experience drive you to prayer, fasting, and a deeper pursuit of Christ—not just the sensation of His presence. And remember, the greatest miracle is not just feeling God’s glory, but being transformed by it into the likeness of His Son (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Keep pressing into Him, beloved. Heaven is indeed breaking in—but let it break *you* first, refining your heart for His purposes.
