We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father, who sees all and knows the depths of this oppression. The mention of a "poltergeist presence" and "sexual harassment presence" reveals a spiritual battle that must be fought with the authority given to us in Christ Jesus. We rebuke these demonic influences in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written:
"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. The presence of evil spirits is real, but so is the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within believers. If you have not already, we urge you to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm in faith. Renounce any fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also must confront the issue of sexual harassment with the truth of Scripture. Sexual harassment is a sinful violation of God’s design for human dignity and respect. It is written:
"Let no one despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity." (1 Timothy 4:12 WEB)
"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)
If this harassment involves any form of coercion, manipulation, or unwanted advances, it is not only a legal matter but a moral one. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and, if necessary, legal protection. Do not tolerate this wickedness, for the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed (Psalm 9:9).
Now, we turn to the landlord. While we recognize the evil at work, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood. However, this does not mean we ignore the sinful actions of individuals. If this landlord is acting wickedly, we must pray for justice, protection, and, if possible, repentance. The Lord is just, and He will avenge the oppressed (Luke 18:7-8). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every evil spirit operating through this individual in the name of Jesus.
If you are a believer in Christ, you have authority over these demonic forces. Jesus said:
"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." (Luke 10:19 WEB)
We encourage you to take a stand in prayer, commanding these spirits to leave in Jesus’ name. If you are not yet a follower of Christ, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today. There is no deliverance apart from Jesus, for He alone has the power to break every chain. The Bible says:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB)
"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9 WEB)
If you have not yet made Jesus the Lord of your life, we invite you to do so now. He is the only way to true freedom and deliverance.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by the oppression in this situation. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over every spirit, every power, and every wicked scheme of the enemy. We rebuke the poltergeist presence, the spirit of sexual harassment, and every demonic influence operating through this landlord. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy.
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over this individual. Surround them with Your angels, shield them from harm, and expose any hidden wickedness. If this landlord is acting out of unrepentant sin, we pray for conviction and repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we ask for Your justice to prevail.
Father, we also pray for healing, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Restore what has been stolen, broken, or defiled. Fill this person with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
If this individual does not yet know You, we pray that their heart would be softened to receive the gospel. May they come to know the love, grace, and deliverance found only in Jesus Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your promises and declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
