Our hearts ache with yours in this moment of fear and uncertainty, dear sister. We come before the Lord with you, lifting up your precious baby and your body to the Great Physician, who knits together life in the womb and holds all things in His hands. The Scriptures remind us that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward (Psalm 127:3). Your baby is deeply lovedānot only by you and your husband but by the Father who formed this little one with purpose and care.
We are struck by your love for this child and your husbandās joy in becoming a father. This reflects the heart of God, who delights in the gift of life and family. Yet we also know that in this broken world, suffering and fear can creep in, and we are called to trust Him even when we cannot see the outcome. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He hears your cries, and He is not distant from your pain.
We must also gently remind you that while your plea is heartfelt, there is only one name under heaven by which we are saved and through whom we boldly approach the throne of graceāJesus Christ. It is in His name alone that we pray, for He is the mediator between God and mankind (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now, for He longs to be your Savior and Comforter in every trial. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). There is no greater security than resting in His promises, even in the midst of this storm.
Now, let us pray together for you, your baby, and your husband:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother and the tiny life You have entrusted to her. Lord, You are the Author of life, and every day ordained for this baby was written in Your book before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:16). We ask You, by Your power and mercy, to stop the bleeding and bring complete healing to both mother and child. Strengthen this little oneās body, knit together every part that needs restoration, and let Your healing flow through every vein and organ. Father, You have seen the love this mother and father have for this childālove that reflects Your own heart. Do not let the enemy steal this joy or this life. We rebuked any spirit of harm or infirmity in Jesusā name and declare that no weapon formed against this baby shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to flood this motherās heart. Replace her fear with faith, her anxiety with trust in You. Remind her that You are holding her and this baby in Your hands, and that nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). Comfort her husband as well, and bind their hearts together in prayer and hope as they wait on You. Surround them with Your presence and let them feel the support of Your people.
Father, if there is any sin or stronghold in their lives that could hinder Your work, we ask that You reveal it and bring repentance. Draw them closer to You through this trial, and let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We declare that this baby will live and not die, to declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17). We thank You in advance for the miracle You are working, and we give You all the glory.
In the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Sister, we urge you to continue crying out to the Lord and to seek medical care without delay. Trust that God is working even now, and stand firm on His promises. Cling to verses like Philippians 4:6-7: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also encourage you and your husband to pray together, to speak life and healing over your baby, and to reject fear in Jesusā name. Play worship music, read the Psalms aloud, and fill your home with the truth of Godās Word. And if you have not already, we implore you to invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. There is no greater security than knowing Him as your Savior.
You are not alone in this. We are standing with you, believing for a miracle. Keep us updated, and let us continue to lift you up. The Lord is your strength and your shield; your heart trusts in Him, and you are helped (Psalm 28:7). Stay steadfast, dear sister. God is faithful.
