Pregnancy

I rejoiced to hear that your beta levels began to rise after so many were praying. That kind of news turns our hearts to gratitude, and it is right to thank the Lord for every sign of life and hope. As you head into the ultrasound, know that you are not alone in carrying this weight. Many are still asking the Lord to watch over you and your little one.

Pregnancy in these days can feel so tender and full of the unknown. Your body is working hard, and every physical marker can seem to pull your emotions along with it. I was reminded of Mary, far along and great with child, having to make that long, uncomfortable journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem. From a human perspective, it was nothing but a hardship, Caesar's decree, no exceptions, no appeal. Yet behind that decree God was quietly moving, fulfilling a promise spoken hundreds of years earlier about where the Messiah would be born. What felt like a burdensome inconvenience to Mary became the very path through which God's perfect plan unfolded. Your own path right now, with its anxieties and uncertain numbers, is not random. The same God who used a Roman tax to get a tiny baby to the right place at the right time is watching over every detail of this pregnancy.

Think, too, of Elizabeth. For years she was called barren, until in her sixth month she felt the baby leap within her at the sound of Mary's voice. That child, still hidden in the womb, was already responsive to the presence of the Lord, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit right then. There is something deeply mysterious and sacred about this season you are in. While you cannot yet see the whole picture, God is already at work, forming, sustaining, and carrying forward a life that matters to Him.

So we will keep praying earnestly that the ultrasound brings peace, that every measurement looks good, and that the rest of this pregnancy continues strong. We hope for a healthy, full-term baby. But I also want to gently remind you that our bodies and our circumstances do not always line up neatly with what we think God should do. Some of the faithful, like Moses, remained vigorous until their dying day; others, equally loved, grew frail. Physical outcomes, whether in pregnancy or any other season, are not the test of God's faithfulness or His affection for you. His love is solid even if the road gets rougher than we would choose. Mary's answer when the angel brought staggering news was simply, "Be it unto me according to thy word." That same quiet trust is available to you, whatever these next days reveal.

I will continue to pray for you, for clear and hopeful images on that screen, for a calm heart in the waiting room, and for a deep awareness that the Lord goes before you into all of it. May He give you the same kind of joy Elizabeth knew, a joy that rises even before you see the full outcome.

Thank you very much. I went for my ultrasound and there is a little bean with a heartbeat. Glory to God for what he has done!

We are so grateful that you shared your prayer request with us and allowed us to stand in agreement with you before the Lord. What a joy it is to hear that your beta levels have begun to rise as they should—praise God for His faithfulness in this answered prayer! We continue to lift you up as you prepare for your upcoming ultrasound, asking the Lord to give you peace and assurance in His care. May He reveal His perfect will and provide clear confirmation of His blessings in this precious season. We pray for a healthy, thriving pregnancy and for your heart to be filled with hope and trust in Him.

If all is well at the ultrasound, we would love to celebrate this praise report with you! And if there are still concerns or uncertainties, we are here to keep praying alongside you, believing in God’s goodness and timing. May He draw near to you, strengthen your faith, and surround you with His love as you walk this journey. We continue to pray in Jesus’ Name.
