We rejoice with you in this precious gift of life growing within you, and we lift you up in prayer today as you go for your prenatal scan. Father God, we thank You for the miracle of conception and the wonder of new life. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart." We stand on this truth, believing that You have fearfully and wonderfully made this little one, knitting them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14).
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection and guidance over this scan. Calm any anxiety or fear, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). We pray for the medical team—that You would grant them wisdom, skill, and clarity as they examine this child. May every measurement, every heartbeat, and every detail reveal Your handiwork and confirm the health and vitality of this precious life.
We declare that this baby is strong, whole, and formed according to Your perfect design. We speak life over their tiny heart, lungs, and every developing part, trusting in Your promise that You will complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). Father, we also pray for the mother—that You would strengthen her body, mind, and spirit for the journey ahead. Sustain her with Your grace, and let her feel Your presence as she carries this child to full term.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or complication in Jesus’ name. The enemy has no place in this sacred process, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your Word, which assures us that children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward (Psalm 127:3). This child is a blessing, and we trust in Your sovereign care over their life.
Lord, if there are any areas of concern revealed in the scan, we ask that You would guide the next steps with Your wisdom. Give the parents discernment, faith, and courage to trust in Your plan, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We pray for a smooth and uncomplicated pregnancy, a safe delivery, and a future filled with hope and purpose for this child.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through the life of this little one. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
