Disciple of Prayer
My name is ###, and I am ### weeks pregnant. Some of my medical tests need to be repeated due to the presence of blood and a possible risk of high sugar levels. I humbly ask for your prayers for wisdom for the doctors, good test results, and for a healthy, peaceful pregnancy. Please pray especially for the protection and well-being of my baby, that my child may grow strong and healthy. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers.

We lift you and your precious little one up before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith. This is a time of both joy and concern, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.

First, we want to acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is by His grace and mercy that we come boldly before the throne of God. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Salvation comes by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9-10).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of life growing within our sister. We ask for Your divine wisdom to rest upon the doctors and medical professionals caring for her. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them clarity of mind as they interpret these tests and make decisions. We pray for good results, Father, that any concerns would be resolved according to Your perfect plan. Your Word tells us in James 1:5 that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to us. We claim this promise now, Lord, for the doctors and for our sister as she navigates this season.

We pray for a healthy and peaceful pregnancy, Father. Calm any fears or anxieties that may arise, and fill her heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Protect her body and the body of her little one, Lord. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke any spirit of fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Most of all, we pray for the protection and well-being of this precious child. Lord, we ask that You would knit this baby together in strength and health, just as You formed them in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). We pray that every cell, every organ, and every part of their little body would develop according to Your perfect design. Guard them from any harm or complication, and let them grow strong under Your watchful care. We declare that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we trust in Your sovereign plan for their life.

Father, we also lift up the emotional and spiritual well-being of our sister. Pregnancy can be a time of great joy, but it can also bring moments of uncertainty. Surround her with Your love and the love of those around her. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give her the strength to endure any challenges that may come her way, and fill her with hope for the future.

We thank You, Lord, for the privilege of bringing this request before You. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, and may He give you peace as you continue this journey of motherhood. Lean on Him, dear sister, for He is your ever-present help in times of need. You are not alone, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer.
