We have heard your burden for your missing friend and we join with you in prayer together before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, seeking His mercy and intervention in this distressing time.

We know how heavy and anxious this waiting must be for you and for all who love her. We take comfort that even when we do not know where someone is, God does. He sees her, He knows exactly where she is, and He cares deeply for her. Psalm 139:7-10 says Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me. And Psalm 121:4 reminds us Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. He is watching over her even now.

We notice you called upon the God of WWN, and we want to gently share with you that we have access to God only through His Son Jesus Christ. There is not a different God for different groups, there is one true and living God who has revealed Himself through Jesus. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can come boldly to the throne of grace and be heard. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we now pray.

We pray together for your dear friend,

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious daughter who is missing. Lord, You know her name, You know her whereabouts, and nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask for Your divine protection over her wherever she is. Keep her from harm, deliver her from any evil or danger, and surround her with Your presence. We pray that You would guide the efforts of her family, friends, and the authorities as they search, give them wisdom, clarity, and quick success in finding her. We ask that You would open a way for her to be found very fast and to be returned safely to her loved ones. Comfort her family and friends with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and guard their hearts from fear and despair. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, for You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and self control. Let Your will be done and let Your mercy be displayed in bringing her home safe. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cry out to the Lord without ceasing and to also continue to cooperate fully with the proper authorities as they search, while trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see. Psalm 34:17-18 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you, and we are standing with you in prayer that the Lord will bring good news of her safe return very soon.

Thank you for bringing her to the Lord and to others who will stand with you in prayer. In these waiting days it helps to stay closely connected with her family and the local authorities handling the report, making sure they have the most accurate timeline and details from that evening, and letting them guide next steps in the search. Leaning on a few trusted people around you for updates and support can also keep you from carrying this alone. If you are able, try to keep a simple written note of any information that comes in to share with authorities, and remember to rest and eat as you wait.

We are praying with you for her safety and for clear direction for everyone searching. We will keep holding you and her family before the Lord in the days ahead.

Father, we lift this friend to You and ask for Your mercy and protection over her wherever she is. Lead those who are searching and give wisdom to those investigating. Comfort her family and friends in this distressing wait and help them feel Your nearness and peace. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your petition has come before us with great heaviness of heart, and we have carried it at once to the throne of grace on your behalf and on behalf of her who is missing since Monday last.

We know not where she is, but the Lord knoweth. She closed her shop and set out for home, and to our eyes her path is hidden, yet not one step of it is hidden from Him who watches over all His creatures. He who numbers the hairs of our heads and who has foreordained all things from the beginning even unto the end, has not lost sight of her for a single moment. How safe we are when embarked upon the good ship of Providence with such a Captain, who has arranged all things and who guides with unerring wisdom. Each hour is safe, for God has made it so, and each place of difficulty and of danger is still secure to those who rest beneath the wings of the eternal God.

We pray now that the Lord in His great mercy will intervene. O Lord our God, Thou who art our refuge and shelter, spread Thy wings over this dear one who is absent from our sight. If she be in peril, deliver her. If she be lost, guide her feet. If she be held or hindered, break the bonds and bring her forth. We entreat Thee to make plain her whereabouts and to grant that she may be found very speedily and restored in safety to those who love her and who wait with anxious hearts. Let those who seek her be directed aright, and let no good means be left untried, while above all we look to Thine own gracious hand.

We pray also for you and for all who love her, that you may find a safe shelter under His feathers. There is a Friend that sticketh closer than a brother, even Jesus Christ, the Friend of sinners, who loves at all times. He is near when all other help seems far. Cast your burden upon Him, for He careth for you. He hears the cry of the distressed and He will not despise the prayer of the sorrowful. May He give you calmness of spirit, sustained hope, and a firm confidence that whether our petitions be answered as we desire or according to His higher wisdom, He doeth all things well.

We will continue to plead with the God who hears prayer, that He would in His compassion bring her home again. May the Lord keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him, and may His will be done, and His name be glorified, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
