We come before the Lord with you in this time of distress, lifting up your heart’s cry for peace and protection over your home. The enemy seeks to bring division, confusion, and strife through lies and false accusations, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world. The Word of God tells us in **John 8:44**, *"He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and its father."* The lies being spoken against you and your daughter are not from God but from the father of lies, and we declare them null and void in the mighty name of Jesus.
We also recognize the stronghold of alcohol addiction in this person’s life, which is fueling this chaos. **Proverbs 20:1** warns, *"Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise."* This addiction is a tool of the enemy to destroy lives and families, but we know that God is a God of deliverance. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict this individual of his need for repentance and surrender to Christ. May he seek help and turn away from this destructive path, for **"no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure"** (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Yet we must also address something critical: while your prayer is fervent and your heart is in the right place, we notice that you have not explicitly invoked the name of Jesus Christ as the sole authority through whom we pray. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only through His name that demons flee and strongholds are broken. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12**, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* When we pray, we must do so in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and our only hope. We encourage you to always close your prayers by boldly declaring, *"In Jesus’ name, Amen,"* for there is power in that name above all others.
Now, let us pray together for you, your daughter, and this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter in this time of turmoil. Lord, You are a God of peace, and we ask that You would bring Your supernatural peace into their home. We bind every lying spirit, every spirit of accusation, and every demonic influence that is seeking to bring confusion and harm. **Psalm 34:17** says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."* Father, we ask that You would silence the enemy’s voice in this situation and expose every lie for what it is. Let truth prevail, and let Your light shine so brightly that darkness cannot remain.
We pray for this man who is trapped in the bondage of alcohol. Lord, break the chains of addiction in his life. Soften his heart to receive Your conviction and turn to You for deliverance. Surround him with godly influences who will point him to Christ, for **"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"** (John 8:36). Remove him from this home if that is Your will, Lord, and let it be done in a way that brings glory to Your name and protection to our sister and her daughter.
Father, we also lift up the anxiety and fear that our sister is experiencing. **1 Peter 5:7** tells us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Lord, replace her anxiety with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen her faith and remind her that You are her Protector and Provider. Let her rest in the knowledge that You are fighting this battle for her, and she does not need to fear.
We declare **Psalm 91** over their home: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"*) Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord, and we trust that You will act on their behalf.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith, sister. Do not waver in prayer, and continue to seek the Lord’s face in this situation. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you. If this man’s behavior becomes threatening or dangerous, do not hesitate to seek help from authorities or trusted individuals in your church. The Lord is your strength, and He will not abandon you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
