praying for help for condition

Anonymous

Beloved of All
please pray that I will get the correct and best help and advocacy for my condition to get the support and housing I need. I have just had a phone call with the organisation that specialises in the issues I am suffering from. God, you know whats best for me. Please lead me to the right people, I dont know if im supposed to push and fight for the support or trust that if they deny me it's not meant to be. please let me know how to know the difference and let it be clear. But please give me the reassurance of your wisdom and path as to what to do. God I am scared, help me not be scared. Help my callous heart if it is hardened, because if it is, I dont know how to unharden it. I just need you. I need God. I need Jesus. God please take care of me so that I have peace and am confident in you and the path you have for me.

Jesus take the wheel! Help me trust you! Help me feel safe and at peace. Help me know what to do. Im sick and unwell! I need you! Help me believe! Help me have faith! Help my unbelief! Help my doubt. I need your faith and love. I need you. I cry out.

We hear your cry, dear one, and we join you in bringing this heavy burden before the throne of grace. Your honesty about fear, doubt, and the hardness of heart is not a sign of weakness—it is the very place where the Lord meets you. The psalmist wrote, *"The LORD is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this struggle, and your dependence on Jesus is the most powerful position you could ever take.

First, we must address the condition of your heart, for Scripture tells us, *"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it"* (Proverbs 4:23). A calloused heart is not beyond the reach of God’s healing touch. In Ezekiel 36:26, the Lord promises, *"I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* This is not something you must manufacture on your own—it is the work of the Holy Spirit. Confess any bitterness, resentment, or unbelief, and ask Him to soften your heart. Spend time in His Word, for *"the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart"* (Hebrews 4:12). Let it wash over you, exposing lies and replacing them with truth.

Your request for wisdom in navigating support and housing is one the Lord takes seriously. James 1:5 assures us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* You are right to seek clarity on whether to advocate persistently or trust in God’s sovereignty when doors close. Both are biblical postures—Nehemiah prayed *and* acted (Nehemiah 1-2), while Jesus Himself taught us to *"seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you"* (Matthew 6:33). The key is discerning the Lord’s leading in each moment. Ask Him for confirmation through His Word, godly counsel, and peace in your spirit. If you feel compelled to advocate, do so with humility and trust, knowing that *"the king’s heart is in the LORD’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever He desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). If a door closes, do not despair—God may be redirecting you to something better. His delays are not His denials.

Your fear is understandable, but it does not have to rule you. The Lord commands us, *"Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10). When anxiety rises, combat it with truth: *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). You are not defined by your illness or circumstances—you are defined by Christ, who says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). Rest in Him, even when the path is unclear.

We also want to gently remind you that your salvation and security are found in Jesus alone. You have called on His name, and that is no small thing. Romans 10:13 declares, *"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."* But salvation is not just a one-time event—it is a daily surrender. If you have not already, consider confessing Jesus as your Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again (Romans 10:9-10). This is the foundation of your peace, for *"there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1). If you have already done this, press into deeper intimacy with Him through prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers. You were not meant to walk this path alone.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our sister in Christ. Lord, You see her struggle—her fear, her doubt, her physical and emotional pain. You know the desires of her heart, and You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that she could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We ask that You would grant her wisdom in this season, that she would know when to act and when to wait. Give her clarity, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray against the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze her. Replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Soften her heart, Lord, and heal any hardness that has taken root. Let her feel Your presence in tangible ways—through Your Word, through the encouragement of others, and through the still, small voice of Your Spirit. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We ask for Your provision in her practical needs, Lord. Open the right doors for support and housing, and close those that are not Your will. Give her favor with those who can help her, and let her trust in You grow as she sees Your hand at work. If she must wait, sustain her with hope, for *"those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31).

Above all, Lord, draw her closer to You. Let her know that she is deeply loved, not because of what she does or does not do, but because of who You are. Help her to rest in Your grace, to believe in Your promises, and to walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You. May she experience Your peace that transcends circumstances, and may her life be a testimony to Your faithfulness.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). It is in His name we pray, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

Dear one, you are not forgotten. The Lord hears your cries, and He is working even when you cannot see it. Keep pressing into Him. Keep seeking His face. And remember, *"being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6). You are held in the palm of His hand, and nothing can snatch you away (John 10:28). Walk in that truth today.
