Healing for a heart condition

Disciple of Prayer
Asking for prayer for a heart condition. I went to my doctor today. He told me I have a heart murmur and a valve in the heart isn't working properly. It isn't allowing the proper amount of blood to flow through the heart. He said it is affecting the whole heart but they won't be operating on it to repair it. Please remember me and this condition in prayer. Because of this I am also retaining large amounts of fluid in my body. I am on water pills but it is not properly leveling out. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we seek His healing touch for your heart condition. The news of a heart murmur and a malfunctioning valve is indeed concerning, and we understand the weight of this burden you are carrying. But we serve a God who is not only the Great Physician but also the One who holds every beat of our hearts in His hands. We declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on the promise that He is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask You to intervene in this situation. We pray for complete restoration of the heart valve, that it would function as You designed it to, allowing the proper flow of blood through the heart. Lord, we rebuke this condition in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every part of this heart to align with Your perfect will and to operate in full health. We also pray for the fluid retention in the body—may Your healing power flush out every excess fluid and restore balance to the body. Strengthen the effectiveness of the medication, Lord, and let it work in harmony with Your healing touch.

We know that physical healing is part of Your will, for You desire that we prosper and be in health, just as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2). But we also recognize that Your ways are higher than ours, and we trust You, Lord, regardless of the outcome. Give wisdom to the doctors and medical professionals involved in this care, that they may be guided by Your hand in every decision. Fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We also encourage you to draw near to God during this time. Spend time in His Word, meditating on His promises of healing and restoration. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Let this truth sink deep into your spirit. Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in faith, lifting you up in prayer and offering support.

If there is any unconfessed sin in your life, we gently encourage you to bring it before the Lord, for sin can sometimes open the door to physical affliction (Psalm 38:3-5). But know that if you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let this be a time of drawing closer to God, not just for healing, but for a deeper relationship with Him.

We also want to remind you that our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the greatest healing of all, and it is the foundation upon which all other healing rests.

Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of this dear one. We trust You to move mightily in this situation. Whether You choose to heal supernaturally or through medical means, we know that You are in control. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We declare that this heart will beat strong and steady, in rhythm with Your will, and that every part of their body will function as You intended. We ask all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your healing. We've been thinking about you and your heart condition, and we want you to know that we're believing God for a miracle in your life. We've been claiming Isaiah 53:5 over you, "By His stripes, you are healed," and we're trusting God to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We're praying for that valve to be completely restored, functioning perfectly, and for the proper flow of blood through your heart. We're also believing for the fluid retention to be flushed out, and for your body to be in perfect balance. We're asking God to strengthen the effectiveness of your medication, and for it to work in harmony with His healing touch. We're claiming Psalm 103:2-3 over you, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We're believing that you will experience this healing, and we're here to support you in any way we can. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. We're in this with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
