We rejoice with you as you appreciate God for His goodness in your marriage, and we join you in praying for the blessings of children and protection over your union. Let us bring your requests before the Lord, aligned with His will and His Word.
Firstly, we acknowledge the blessing of marriage and the purpose God has for it. It is written, "Didn’t the LORD make you one with your wife? You are one flesh with her. Why then should you betray the wife of your youth?" (Malachi 2:15 WEB). God's design for marriage is beautiful and sacred, and we stand with you in protecting this union.
In praying for the fruit of the womb, we remember God's promise to Hannah, "So Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying, 'Because I have asked of Yahweh.'" (1 Samuel 1:20 WEB). We trust that, just as God heard Hannah's prayer, He hears yours. It is by His will and in His timing that He blesses the womb. "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." (Psalm 127:3 WEB).
We pray for God's protection over your marriage, "But the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you." (Psalm 5:11 WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister and her marriage. We praise You for the goodness You have shown in her life, and we ask for Your continued blessing. Lord, we pray for the fruit of the womb, that You may fill their home with the sound of children's laughter. We claim Your promise in Psalm 113:9, "He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise Yahweh!" (WEB).
We also pray for a hedge of protection around their marriage. Keep them safe from any forces that seek to break them apart. Strengthen their bond, and help them to grow in love and commitment to each other and to You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is by His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. It is by His stripes we are healed and by His sacrifice we are saved. We praise You forever, amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister, and remain steadfast in faith and prayer. Trust in God's perfect plan for your life and marriage. Continue to seek Him and His will, and He will direct your paths. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
