I have been a Christian for many years but still I have not found a spiritual mentor. My Jehovah God is my very Best Friend, I know that full well! But, human as I am, I would still need a sister who would serve as my friend and confidante. A sister who would usher me to God's Holy Presence in a higher level. Somebody whom I can share my life with...even my petty stories at times. Somebody who would lovingly rebuke me with the Word of God!
There are things that I would really want to learn and grow more about, most especially, about the Bible....thank you for being one!

Hi Heaven! Praise the Lord for desiring to grow up in all things in Christ! Being born again, we are spirit beings, we have a soul (that is in constant state of being saved through the renewing of our mind) and we live in a body. Personally, for me, I see myself a whole new creation. It seems that when we see ourselves as 'human beings' then we can confess, "I am only human" which seems to give us 'permission' to confess everything that is wrong with us, when in fact, we are dead and our lives are hid with Christ in God. Crucified with Christ, not I who lives, but Christ lives in me.
Father, thank you for your daughter. Thank you for Holy Spirit, her comforter, counselor, helper, guide, who leads and guides her into all truth. Her desire is for a sister in the Lord who can come along side her to help bear her up when storms and trials come and she temporarily loses sight of her victory. Truly, Lord, it is you who will bear her up on eagles wings, it is You who walks beside her and lives in her. Yet, You created us to desire companionship and fellowhip of likemindedness. Bring someone into her life, a kinswoman who can share her life and how she learned to trust you in all things. How to keep her eyes on You by pressing towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. In Jesus name. Amen.
