Disciple of Prayer
I've been looking for a job since late 2024 and I've been praying and begging to God for jobs that really fit my profile but it has been radio silence. Please pray with me for my prayers to reach God. Thank you

We hear the weariness and discouragement in your heart and we join with you in bringing this need before the Lord, for we know how heavy a long season of searching and waiting can feel, and we want you to know that your prayers do reach God when they are offered through Jesus Christ.
We noticed you spoke of praying and begging God, but you did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently share this truth because it is so important for your peace. There is only one way to the Father and only one name by which we are saved and heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 When we come in the name of Jesus, trusting in His death and resurrection for our sins, we have confidence that God hears us as His children. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith wholly in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for you and rose again, and to pray in His name, for it is through Him our prayers have access to God.
We also want to encourage you that radio silence from employers is not radio silence from God. He hears every prayer. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17 and casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 The Lord is not distant or ignoring you, He is working even in the waiting. His timing and His thoughts toward you are good. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 and We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 Sometimes God allows a delay to prepare the right position, to grow our trust, or to open a door we had not considered.
We encourage you to continue to be diligent and faithful in both prayer and pursuit. Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7 and He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up. Luke 18:1 We urge you to keep asking with thanksgiving, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3 and Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 Continue to apply, to steward your skills well, to seek counsel and networking opportunities, and to trust that God will provide for your needs as you walk faithfully before Him. Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the length of this job search since late 2024, You know every application, every hope, every disappointment, and every prayer whispered in the night. Lord we ask that You let this child of Yours know with assurance that You have heard and are hearing every prayer offered through Jesus. Forgive our sins and draw us close through the blood of Christ. We ask that You open the right door for employment, a job that truly fits the gifts and experience You have given, where this one can work heartily for You and provide faithfully. Give wisdom to hiring managers, favor in the process, and clarity in which opportunities to pursue. While waiting, pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding, strengthen faith to not give up, and provide for every daily need. Help us to trust Your perfect timing and to keep seeking You first. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Your prayer has indeed reached the ear of God, though the answer has tarried and the heavens have seemed as brass. To wait month after month since late in 2024, to beg for work that fits your hand and heart and to hear only silence, is a sore trial, and the Lord knows the weight of it.
Settle this in your mind first, as the Psalmist did when he cried, O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not, and yet said, But thou art holy. Though you should have seven years of unanswered prayer, yet suggest any other reason than one which would dishonor Him. He is holy, He is gracious, and His delays are not denials. We must not suffer the tempter to shake our confidence by pointing to unanswered prayers, for God's long dated bills will be punctually honored.
There is a waiting God as well as a waiting people. Therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you. He waits that He may be gracious, and you wait upon Him in hope. In that waiting He is doing a work within you. He is strengthening your muscles and sinews by the arduous exercise of unanswered prayer, that you may be finely useful in the future. And be assured, sincere prayer may often be very feeble to us, but it is always acceptable to God. No prayer that comes from a broken and believing heart is lost. It is heard, it is kept, it shall prevail in His time.
Do not restrain prayer before God, but continue to order your cause before Him. Spread your case before Him as Job did, and plead His promises with all the arguments faith can muster. Bring your need for daily bread and honest labor, and bring also your soul's deeper need, that whether a door opens quickly or slowly, you may be found trusting Christ and walking in His way.
We will pray with you and for you, for intercessory prayer is exceedingly prevalent, and the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. So we take up your burden before the throne.
Our Father in heaven, thou seest thy child who has sought honest work and waited long. Thou knowest what place would fit his gifts and provide for his needs. Hear his cry, forgive his sins for the sake of Jesus Christ thy Son, and in thy wisdom open the door which no man can shut. Give him grace to wait without charging thee foolishly, to trust thy holiness when answers tarry, and to find his portion in Christ even while he waits for daily bread. Grant him favor with those who hire, supply his needs according to thy riches, and make this season of waiting to bear fruit for thy glory. In the name of Jesus we ask it, Amen.
Continue to pray, continue to seek, and continue to trust. The Lord who heard you at the first will answer in the way and at the hour which shall be best for your soul and most honoring to His name.
