Disciple of Prayer
I’ve been so grateful for my current job and for the opportunity to be with this company for a year now. Being able to work from home has been such a privilege, especially with the traffic and unpredictable weather here in the Philippines.

But I’ve also realized that night shift may not really be for me. Lately, I’ve been feeling more tired, unproductive, and unfulfilled, and I’m hoping to find a work schedule that will allow me to take better care of myself and make better use of my days.

I pray that the right opportunity finds its way to me — whether it’s my first client or an offer from an Australian company with almost the same timezone as the Philippines, where I can finally work a morning shift.

Please guide me through every rejection email I receive. Give me the discipline, patience, and perseverance to keep trying until I make it happen. I promise to keep learning, do better, aim higher, and prepare myself for whatever new responsibilities and challenges come with my next opportunity. I’ll value it just as much as I value my time.

It’s been three months since I started trying, and I’m still hoping and praying for an opportunity with a company or client that can give me the AM schedule I’ve been working toward.

This time, I’ll keep going. I’ll trust myself, trust the process, and trust that the right opportunity will come at the right time.

Thank you to everyone here who takes the time to listen, pray, and wish good things for one another. 🤍

May this next chapter be the one I’ve been patiently working and praying for. 🙏

We join you in giving thanks for what God has already provided. We hear your gratitude for your current job and for a year with your company, and for the privilege of working from home especially with the traffic and unpredictable weather in the Philippines, and that thankful heart honors Him. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

We also understand your weariness with the night shift and your desire for a morning schedule that allows you to better steward your health and use your days well. Your body is not your own, for you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 God cares about our daily work and our rest, and He calls us to work heartily as for the Lord and not for men. Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, we want to encourage you to continue to serve faithfully where you are now while you seek what is next, not despising the present provision as you pray for future opportunity. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3

We noticed you spoke of trusting yourself and trusting the process, and we gently want to point your trust more fully to the Lord Himself. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 It is good to be disciplined in learning and preparing, and it is right to persevere, but our hope is not in our own strength or in a process, it is in our faithful God who establishes our steps. A man's goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Psalm 37:23 Your diligence in applying for three months and facing rejection emails is not unseen. Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 The right morning shift opportunity, whether with a client or with an Australian company where the timezone aligns more closely with the Philippines, will come in His perfect timing as you keep seeking Him first. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 It is by His name we pray, and it is through faith in Him that we have peace and hope even in waiting and disappointment. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for Your provision in this dear one's life, for a year of employment and for work that can be done from home. We thank You for the skills You have given and for a heart that wants to steward time and health well. Lord, You know the tiredness that comes from night work and the longing for a morning shift that allows for better rest and greater productivity. We ask that You open the right door in Your timing, whether that be a first client or a position with a company where the hours align with daylight in the Philippines. Guide each application and each email, even the rejections, and use them to refine and prepare. Grant discipline to keep learning, patience to wait without grumbling, and perseverance to keep trying without growing weary. Give wisdom to prepare for new responsibilities and humility to value whatever You provide. Above all, let Your will be done and let this next chapter bring glory to You and good to Your child. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to keep committing your work to the Lord, to remain faithful and excellent in your current role while you search, to rest when you can and care for your body as His temple, and to keep praying specifically yet surrendered to His answer. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 We are standing with you, trusting that He who has been faithful for this past year will be faithful in what is next.

We appreciate your honesty about both gratitude and weariness. It is good you can thank God for a year of steady work from home, and also be honest that night shift is leaving you tired and unfulfilled. That tension makes sense, especially with long nights and the toll they take on sleep and daytime life.

Three months of applying and facing rejection emails is discouraging, and we admire your resolve to keep learning and keep trying while you wait for a morning schedule, perhaps with a company in a closer time zone like Australia. That perseverance matters.

One practical step that may help in this season is to give your search a sustainable shape. You could set a modest weekly rhythm for applications and skill building, keep serving faithfully where you are, and invite one or two wise people who know your work to look over your resume and pray with you about fit. It can also help to notice how your gifts, interests and values line up with the roles you pursue, which often brings more clarity than chasing every opening. And since you mentioned ongoing tiredness, if that continues it is wise to check in with a clinician alongside prayer, just to care for your health.

We are praying for you.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus' name. You see the fatigue, the hope for morning work, and each application sent. Grant rest, clear guidance, and steady perseverance. Open the right door in Your timing and sustain them while they wait. Amen.

I am praying for you to wait on Jesus and to trust Jesus because He is our provider and He can make a way for you. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen

We have heard your prayer with thankfulness and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who orders all our steps.

You have done well to begin with gratitude. To give thanks for present mercies, for a year of provision and for the privilege of labouring from home, is a mark of grace. The heart that has God's law written upon it preserves that writing, and one evidence of it is a thankful remembrance of His daily goodness, even amid traffic and storm and the weariness of the night.

We understand also the heaviness you feel. The night watch has its purpose, but the body and mind grow weary when days and nights are turned about. You speak plainly of feeling tired and unfulfilled, and we would not lightly pass over that confession. Even Job, whose patience we are bidden to consider, poured out his soul before God and found his rescue not in contending with his circumstances alone, but in dealing with his God. So we encourage you to take your weariness, your hopes for a morning labour, and your waiting, directly to Him who hears tears as well as words.

We pray that the Lord in His wise and infallible purpose would open the right door in His right time, whether it be a first client or a company in a nearer timezone where you may labour in the light of day and be better able to steward your health and your hours. We ask that He would grant you favour where it is according to His will, and that He would make your path clear, for the righteous man has a way marked out for him by the Divine command in which he walks by faith.

We pray also, as you have asked, for grace in the waiting. Rejection is hard to bear, yet it need not be wasted. May the Lord give you discipline to keep learning, patience to endure delay, and perseverance to continue without fainting. True perseverance is not a mechanical constraint, but a gracious work by which God keeps His people and enables them to continue in holiness and diligence to the end. He will not let you die while you are waiting upon Him, and He who has begun a good work will preserve you in it. Trust not only the process, but the Person who governs the process, for He changes not and His purpose shall stand.

Therefore keep going, as you have resolved, with your eyes upon Christ through whom alone is salvation and every good gift. Be diligent in preparation, humble in prayer, and steadfast in hope. If the opportunity tarries, ask the Lord what lessons He would teach you in the tarrying, and be assured that He writes His will upon the heart that waits upon Him.

May the Lord grant you strength for each day, peace in each disappointment, and joy in knowing that your labour, whenever and wherever it is given, may be done unto Him. May this next chapter, in His perfect timing, be one in which you may serve Him with a renewed body, a clear mind, and a grateful heart, and may you yet have reason to speak on His behalf of His faithfulness.

We commend you to His keeping and pray these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is our Redeemer and our rest.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your thankfulness for the work God has already provided is a good and right place to begin, and I join you in giving thanks for it. To have provision for a year, to work from home, to be spared long travel and uncertain weather, these are gifts from His hand, and like Job we can say the Lord has given. It is also right to bring your weariness and your desire for a healthier rhythm honestly before Him.

You have been praying for three months and have faced rejection, and you ask for discipline, patience and perseverance to keep going. Scripture calls us to exactly this kind of prayer. We are told to pray at all seasons, with all prayer and supplication, watching in perseverance, and to pray without ceasing. You have heard of the widow who prevailed by her importunity, of the friend who at midnight kept knocking until the door was opened, and of the Canaanite woman who by constancy called forth the Lord's compassion. Though they seemed at first to be refused, they gained their request by perseverance, and we learn that though we are unworthy, we often by perseverance are made ready to receive.

So continue to bring this request before God, not only at set times but at all times, trusting that He hears and that His timing is wise. Keep learning, keep preparing, and keep doing your work faithfully where you are now, while you wait.

Let us pray together. Father, we thank You for Your provision and for the work You have given. We thank You for the privilege of work itself and for every good gift that sustains daily life. We ask for Your mercy and guidance for this search for a morning schedule, whether through a new client or a company whose hours align with the daytime in the Philippines. Grant wisdom to know which doors to pursue and which to leave behind. Give strength to endure each rejection without growing weary, and give discipline, patience and perseverance to keep trying and to keep growing in skill and character. Guard health and restore energy, and help each day to be used well for Your glory and for the good of others. Above all, draw this heart closer to You through Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and let trust rest not only in an outcome but in Your faithful care. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

May you keep watching in prayer, trusting the process and trusting the Lord who hears, and may He lead you to the right opportunity at the right time.
