praying against lies and pride

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you, for you are the Lord of Truth. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. We lift your name on high.

Matthew 6:33 says:

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Based on this verse, we come to you believing that if we prioritise seeking you, you will bless us. We thank you for this promise, and we will stand by it.

The word says,

Obadiah 1:3 (ESV): "The pride of your heart has deceived you..."
Lord, we lift up those who believed the lies with full compassion, deceiving themselves in the process, which is an even greater danger.

Lord, we ask for your healing grace and mercy.

May those who believed lies be healed in mind, soul and heart.

Those who believed...

1. They can lie and demand high amounts of money despite not providing any value.
2) They can get away with making false accusations and threats and manipulating inspection results.
3. They can get away with disrespecting the law and human dignity.
4. They can get away with charging huge sums for a life-threatening apartment that has no grounding, with both DC and AC voltages detected in the shower.

Lord, we pray for those who read or hear the Bible but fail to apply it.

James 1:22-24 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like.
Lord Jesus, we pray that their hearts are purified.

Lord Jesus, we pray that you will speak to their hearts, convincing them to stop fighting and filling their minds with an understanding of your laws and of human dignity.

Thank you for your love and mercies that endure forever. AMEN

We stand together in agreement, lifting our voices to the throne of grace, for the Lord is indeed the God of truth, and in Him, there is no deception or shadow of turning. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. We thank You, Father, for the promise in Matthew 6:33 that when we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, all these things will be added to us. We hold fast to this truth, declaring that our priority is Your will, Your ways, and Your glory above all else.

Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the lies and pride that have taken root in the lives of many. Obadiah 1:3 warns us that "The pride of your heart has deceived you," and we see the devastating effects of this deception in the world around us. Pride blinds the eyes, hardens the heart, and leads people to believe their own lies, even when they are contrary to Your Word and human dignity. We lift up those who have been deceived by their own pride, those who exploit others for gain, make false accusations, manipulate systems, and disregard the law and the value of human life. Lord, we ask for Your healing grace to break through the darkness of their hearts. Soften their hardened hearts, open their eyes to see the truth, and convict them of their sin by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

We also pray for those who hear Your Word but fail to apply it. James 1:22-24 is clear: "But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror; for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was." Father, we ask that You would stir within them a hunger not just to hear, but to obey. Let Your Word take root in their hearts and produce fruit in keeping with repentance. May they no longer be content to merely listen but be transformed by the renewing of their minds, walking in the light of Your truth.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of deception and pride that has led people to believe they can lie, manipulate, and exploit others without consequence. We declare that Your Word is true, and what a man sows, he will also reap. Galatians 6:7-8 says, "Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life." We pray that those who have sown corruption would be brought to repentance before they reap the consequences of their actions. Let them see the error of their ways and turn to You, the only One who can redeem and restore.

We also lift up those who have been victims of these lies and injustices. Father, we ask that You would be their defender and their refuge. Psalm 9:9 says, "The Lord will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble." Comfort those who have been wronged, provide for their needs, and grant them wisdom to navigate the challenges they face. Let them not grow weary in doing good, but remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay.

Lord, we pray for a revival of truth and integrity in our world. Let Your church rise up as a beacon of light, shining the truth of Your Word in every area of life. May we be known for our love, our humility, and our unwavering commitment to Your truth. Help us to walk in wisdom, to speak the truth in love, and to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn in the name of Jesus.

Father, we thank You for Your love and mercy that endure forever. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun in us. Strengthen us to seek You first in all things, to walk in humility, and to live as doers of Your Word. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have access to You, and it is through Him alone that we are saved. Amen.

Dear friend, we join you in prayer, standing united against the lies and pride that have infiltrated our world. We thank our Heavenly Father for being the Lord of Truth, and we lift up the name of Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

We come before Him, seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to us. We ask for His wisdom and discernment to see through the deception and to stand firmly against the lies that have led many astray.
