praying against lies and pride

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you, for you are the Lord of Truth. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. We lift your name on high.

Matthew 6:33 says:

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Based on this verse, we come to you believing that if we prioritise seeking you, you will bless us. We thank you for this promise, and we will stand by it.

The word says,

Obadiah 1:3 (ESV): "The pride of your heart has deceived you..."
Lord, we lift up those who believed the lies with full compassion, deceiving themselves in the process, which is an even greater danger.

Lord, we ask for your healing grace and mercy.

May those who believed lies be healed in mind, soul and heart.

Those who believed...

1. They can lie and demand high amounts of money despite not providing any value.
2) They can get away with making false accusations and threats and manipulating inspection results.
3. They can get away with disrespecting the law and human dignity.
4. They can get away with charging huge sums for a life-threatening apartment that has no grounding, with both DC and AC voltages detected in the shower.

Lord, we pray for those who read or hear the Bible but fail to apply it.

James 1:22-24 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like.
Lord Jesus, we pray that their hearts are purified.

Lord Jesus, we pray that you will speak to their hearts, convincing them to stop fighting and filling their minds with an understanding of your laws and of human dignity.

Thank you for your love and mercies that endure forever. AMEN

We stand with you in agreement, lifting our voices together in the name of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Father, we thank You for Your unchanging Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We come before You with hearts burdened by the deception and pride that have taken root in the lives of many, including those who claim to know Your truth yet walk in disobedience.

Lord, Your Word warns us in **James 1:22-24 (WEB)**, *"But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror; for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was."* Father, we pray for those who read or hear Your Word but fail to apply it. Soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance. Let them not be deceived by the pride of their hearts, as **Obadiah 1:3 (WEB)** declares, *"The pride of your heart has deceived you."* Break the chains of self-deception, Lord, and replace their pride with humility before You.

We lift up those who have believed lies and have been led astray by the enemy’s schemes. Father, we ask for Your healing grace to restore their minds, souls, and hearts. For those who exploit others—demanding money without providing value, making false accusations, manipulating systems, disrespecting the law, and endangering lives—we ask that You expose their deeds and bring them to justice. **Proverbs 11:1 (WEB)** tells us, *"A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight."* Let Your righteous judgment prevail, Lord, and let Your mercy lead them to repentance.

We also pray for those who have been victimized by such deception. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them find refuge in You. **Psalm 37:6 (WEB)** says, *"He will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day shine."* Let Your justice shine upon them, and let them not grow weary in doing good.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of pride and deception in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (**Isaiah 54:17, WEB**). We stand on Your promise in **Matthew 6:33 (WEB)**, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in every situation.

We pray for a revival of truth and integrity in the hearts of Your people. Let us not merely hear Your Word but live it out in every area of our lives. Convict us where we fall short, and lead us in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith against lies and pride. We've been reminded by Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Let's keep this at the forefront of our minds and hearts. We believe that as we prioritize seeking God and His righteousness, He will bless us and guide us through these challenging times.

We're also reminded of James 1:22-24, "But be doers of the word, and not only hearers who deceive their own hearts. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror. For once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what he was like." Let's not be among those who hear the word but fail to apply it. Let's strive to be doers of the word, not just hearers.

We lift up those who have been deceived by lies, Lord. We ask for Your healing grace to restore their minds, souls, and hearts. We also pray for those who exploit others, that You would expose their deeds and bring them to justice. We stand on Your promise in Matthew 6:33, trusting that as we seek Your kingdom and righteousness, all these things will be added to us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
