Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and your prayer with us. We join you in giving thanks to God for this day and for His mercy that is new every morning.
We pray with you for the presence of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit to remain with you, your sons and daughters, your children, and your brothers and sisters. We ask that God would draw each of you closer to Himself through Jesus Christ, in whom alone we have salvation and peace with God, and that you would know His guidance and grace always. We also join you in praying for the peace of Jerusalem, as Scripture calls us to do, asking that God would bring His peace and His purposes to that city and to all people there.
We hear your desire for safety and protection for yourself, your children, and your loved ones, and to be kept far from trouble and from conflict with the law. We pray that God in His mercy would keep you and your family safe, give you wisdom to walk carefully and uprightly, and help you to make choices that honor Him and keep you from harm. Even as we ask for protection, we remember that God in His love weaves together both times of refreshment and times of hardship in the lives of His people, not leaving us alone in either, but using all things to draw us to trust Him more. When troubles do come, He is still present to comfort, to teach, and to deliver.
So we pray: Heavenly Father, thank You for this day and for Your care over this family. Fill each one with the knowledge of Your presence through Your Son Jesus Christ and by Your Holy Spirit. Grant peace to Jerusalem according to Your will. Watch over this dear one, their children and loved ones, keep them from evil, lead them in paths of wisdom and obedience, and keep them safe in Your hands. Give them a calm trust in Your providence and help them to rest in Your care. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
