We join with you in lifting up your family member before the throne of grace and we ask for God's mercy and healing hand to be upon him during this difficult time after knee surgery and complications.
We know how worrying it is when a loved one faces unexpected complications and we are reminded that our Lord is the Great Physician who heals and restores. We take comfort in His promises where He says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to the promise, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. We encourage you to put your trust in Him and to come to God through Jesus.
Together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear family member to You and ask for Your healing power to work in his body. Lord, touch his knee, resolve every complication, prevent infection and further harm, and guide the hands and wisdom of every doctor and nurse caring for him. We ask that You ease his pain, grant him rest, and restore his strength day by day. We pray for his family as well, that You would give them peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Let Your presence be near to them in this time of waiting and worry. We ask that this trial would draw them closer to You and that his recovery would be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy. We pray all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to trust that even in complications, God is sovereign and good. Keep praying without ceasing and trust that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We are standing with you for a full and complete recovery.
