We join you in lifting up this Christian woman and her family before our Father, and we thank you for standing in the gap for her and for these precious children.
We are moved by her burden for those who are hurting emotionally and for her step grandchildren who have been taken from their mother and face uncertainty about where they will be placed. The Lord sees these little ones and He holds them in His care, for Jesus said Allow the little children to come to me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. Matthew 19:14. We also lift up their mother and pray that God would surround her with help and truth and lead her toward whatever healing and restoration is needed. We pray for the authorities and all who will decide where these children will be placed, that God would guide them to a safe, stable and loving home where they will be protected and nurtured.
We pray as well for this grandmother who carries complicated situations in her family. How we need wisdom in such times, and we cling to the promise that If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We ask God to give her clear discernment to know when to step in, when to step back, and how to love well while guarding her own heart and home. We pray for distance from any dark circumstances, just as Scripture urges us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them. Ephesians 5:11 and to seek what is pure and good. We ask the Lord to be her light in every dark place, for The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5.
We know she is hurting emotionally and we pray for the healing only God can bring, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 and Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. We ask for His peace to guard her heart and mind, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7, and for strength as she trusts Him, for He has said Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We trust that even in complicated and painful family matters God is still working for good for those who love Him, for We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our only way to You and our only hope of salvation, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We lift up this dear sister in Christ to You. You know her heart, her burdens, and the complicated situations she faces. Pour out Your wisdom upon her, show her Your path and give her courage to establish healthy boundaries and distance from any darkness. Let Your light flood every shadow in her family and in her own life. Bring Your healing to her emotionally and spiritually, restore what has been broken, and let Your goodness be evident in her daily life. We place these step grandchildren into Your hands. Protect them, comfort them in their confusion and fear, and place them where they will be safe and loved and where Your name can be known. Provide for their mother according to Your mercy and lead her into wholeness. Comfort all who are hurting emotionally and let them feel Your nearness. We thank You for Your power to heal and for Your grace and mercy that never fails. We give You all glory and trust You to do what only You can do. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
