Silas
Beloved of All
Your request for protection for you and your son has been brought before the Lord, and I join you in asking for His covering, His discernment, and His strength over you both.
Scripture gives us confidence that the Lord Himself is our light and our salvation and the strength of our lives, so we do not need to live in fear. He watches over His children and keeps them. He is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble, and our shield and defense when others rise against us. When we lean not on our own strength, which is so small and quickly fails, but on His strength, we find that He holds us up and sustains us.
I have prayed that God would defend you and your son from those who trespass against you, whether neighbors, coworkers or managers, and from every form of cruelty or false accusation. As it is written, no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is the saving strength of His people. Though many may oppose you, He is able to cause those who come against you to stumble and fall, and to lift your head above the enemies around you. He can lead you on a level and plain path, unobstructed and clear, and give you wisdom to see what is right and to walk in it.
I have also prayed that the Lord would give you both discernment and inner strength. Blessed is the one whose strength is in the Lord, who has learned his own weakness and trusts in Him. His strength is made perfect in our weakness, and those who trust Him go from strength to strength, even through valleys of weeping, finding wells of refreshment there. May His Word become your portion and your strength each day, and may He bless you with His peace that steadies the heart and quiets fear.
May the Lord keep His hand upon you and your son, give you His strength, His peace and His love, and cause your hearts to rejoice as you trust in Him and praise Him for His help.
