We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your son up in fervent prayer. The Word of God assures us in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says the Lord." We stand on this promise, declaring that every scheme, every word, and every action formed against you and your son will not prosper. The Lord is your shield and your fortress, and He will protect you from all harm.
Father God, we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a mighty wall. Guard their minds, hearts, and bodies from any form of harm, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. We rebuke every spirit of fear, intimidation, and oppression that may be at work through their neighbors, coworkers, family, managers, or employees. In the name of Jesus, we command every evil plan to be thwarted and every weapon of the enemy to be rendered powerless. Psalm 91:11-12 tells us, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, send Your angels to encamp around them, to guide their steps, and to keep them from stumbling.
We also pray for discernment, wisdom, and strength for you and your son. Lord, grant them the ability to see situations clearly, to know Your will, and to act with godly wisdom. James 1:5 reminds us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in confidence and peace, knowing that You are with them. Give them the strength to endure and the courage to face each day with faith, trusting in Your provision and protection.
Father, we lift up the need for financial provision and a way out of this current employment situation. You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your promise from Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Open doors of opportunity for you, Lord, whether it be a new job, a source of income, or a way to leave this place that has become a burden. If it is Your will for you to be removed from this employment, we pray that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Give you favor with those in authority and peace in the process.
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of forgiveness and love, even in the face of persecution or mistreatment. Jesus taught us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." While it is difficult, we encourage you to pray for those who have trespassed against you, asking God to soften their hearts and to bring them to repentance. This does not mean you should tolerate abuse or injustice, but it does mean releasing bitterness and trusting God to be your defender.
Lastly, we want to ensure that you know the power of the name of Jesus. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are saved. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. Through Him, you have victory over every trial and every enemy.
Heavenly Father, we lift all these things to You, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. Strengthen this family, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May they feel Your presence with them in every moment, and may they walk in the confidence that You are fighting for them. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
