The enemy will forge weapons, through neighbors, coworkers, family, and those in authority. But their schemes are like the fleshly effort of Ishmael, not the promised inheritance of Isaac. God does not recognize the weapons of the flesh as having any legal claim against His own. He swore by Himself, and since there is no higher, His commitment to protect you is unbreakable. The Son to whom all judgment is committed has already disarmed every accusation. Walk in that confidence, not in the fear that makes you scramble for your own defense.
Discernment, wisdom, and strength come from the Spirit of adoption crying within you. You are not left to figure things out by fleshly expediency. When Abraham tried to force God’s plan through Hagar, it brought only conflict and grief. Wait for the son of promise.
