Prayers for replacement of my job

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Prayers for continued protection over my son and me from our trespassers neighbors coworkers family e and that no weapon y agay is shall prosper Prayers for discernment guidance y strength and knowledge over my son and me. Prayers that I receive a response from an inquiry a few months ago. Prayers that I will go somewhere soon.

We join together with you in prayer before our heavenly Father and we lift up you and your son to Him for His provision, protection, and guidance.

We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray in the name of Jesus because He is our mediator and our hope, and we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him for every need.

We bring your need for a job before the Lord. We know the worry that comes with waiting for provision and for an answer to an inquiry you sent months ago. We pray that God will open the right door in His perfect timing and that He will supply what you need. We remember the promise in Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And in Psalm 37:23 A man's goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. We ask for favor over that inquiry and for clarity if God is leading you in a different direction, and we pray that He will guide your steps as you desire to go somewhere soon. We ask Him to make His will clear and to provide safe travel and purpose wherever He leads you.

We also lift up your prayer for continued protection over you and your son from trespassers, neighbors, coworkers, and even family. We understand how heavy it feels to need protection on so many sides. We claim the promise in Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. We pray that the Lord will be your refuge and shield. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress. My God, in whom I trust. And in Psalm 121:7-8 Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. We pray that God will set boundaries of peace around your home and your family, that He will soften hearts where there is conflict, and that He will keep you both safe from harm and from evil intent.

We pray too for discernment, guidance, strength, and knowledge over you and your son. We ask God to pour out wisdom generously as He promises in James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We pray you will both trust in Him fully as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. May He strengthen you when you are weary, for Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear parent and son to Your throne of grace. Lord, provide the job that is needed, a good and honest work that will provide for their needs and use the gifts You have given. We ask for an answer to the inquiry that has been waiting, and if it is Your will, open that door, and if not, lead to something better. Grant them protection day and night, keep them from those who would trespass or do harm, whether neighbor, coworker, or family, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Surround their home with Your peace and Your angels. Fill them with discernment and guidance, give them strength for each day and knowledge to walk in Your ways. Direct their steps and guide them as they hope to go somewhere soon, and let Your perfect will be done in their lives. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you as said in 1 Peter 5:7, and to trust that He hears and will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love.

We hear the weight in what you shared, carrying the need for a new job while wanting to keep your son safe and to find wisdom for each next step. Waiting months for a response to an inquiry and longing to go somewhere soon can leave you feeling in limbo, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer.

We are praying for God's protection and peace over you both at home and wherever you go, and for clear discernment and steady strength as you navigate pressures from neighbors, coworkers and family. In a season like this it can help to make the next steps small and shared. If it feels appropriate, you might send a brief, courteous follow up this week on that earlier inquiry to confirm your continued interest, and let one trusted person in your church or community know you are looking so they can pray specifically with you and keep an ear out for leads. You do not have to carry all of this alone, and having someone walk with you can bring both practical help and encouragement while you wait.

We know you are looking for more than just any job, but for provision that allows you to care well for your son and have stability day to day. We will keep asking God to guide you to the right opportunity and to give you daily wisdom as doors open.

Father, we lift this parent and son to You. Provide the work You have for them and meet their daily needs. Cover them with Your protection and quiet their hearts with Your peace. Grant them discernment, guidance, strength and knowledge for each decision, bring clarity about the inquiry they are waiting on, and lead them in Your timing to the place You have for them next. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your petitions have been laid before the throne of grace and we have remembered you and your son in prayer.

We are mindful of Job, who in all his losses and sorrows sinned not nor charged God foolishly, but fell down upon the ground and worshipped. Like him you have been brought into straits, concerning your daily bread and your place of labor, and concerning those who press upon you on every side. Take comfort that the Lord who tried Job is the same Lord who upheld him, and if He could support Job under such a weight, He can support you. Make your approach unto Him in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown, for He hears the cry of His people.

For your employment we pray that the Lord, who is your provider, will open a door that no man can shut. Job in his prosperity saw his bow renewed in his hand and his glory fresh in him, and though that freshness was for a season taken away, the Lord at the last turned his captivity and gave him twice as much as he had before. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery when God has gotten His purpose in them. May He in His wisdom supply what you need for your household, and give you a place of honest labor where you may glorify Him.

For your protection and that of your son we plead the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. The enemy once said of Job that God had set a hedge about him, and that hedge the Lord Himself maintains about His own. May that hedge be kept about your dwelling, against all who would trespass against you, whether neighbors or coworkers or others, and may the Lord keep you from all evil and keep your souls in peace.

We pray also for discernment and guidance and strength and knowledge for you both. Job at the last said, I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear, but now mine eye seeth Thee, and that sight brought him to yield his cause and to say God must be right. May the Lord give you a more vivid apprehension of Himself, that you may trust Him though He slay you, and may He teach you His way and renew your strength day by day.

Concerning the inquiry from months ago which still waits for an answer, and your desire to go somewhere soon, we ask that the Lord in His perfect time and providence will make His will plain. Wait upon Him, for He does but display the skirts of His robe and unveil a part of His ways, and His timing is wise and good. May He order your steps and open the way before you as seems best to Him.

We pray together, O Father, turn as Thou didst turn the captivity of Job when he prayed, and show Thy mercy to this parent and child. Guard them, provide for them, give them wisdom and knowledge and steadfastness, and let them see Thy hand in their lives. Keep them from sinning with their lips in trial, and bring them to worship Thee in all things. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our hope, Amen.
