Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to lift you up before the Lord these past days.
We thank God with you for this day and for the work of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in your life and in the lives of your sons and daughters and your brothers and sisters. We join you in praying for the peace of Jerusalem as you asked, remembering the promise of Psalm 122:6.
We have also brought before the Lord the burden on your heart regarding this relationship. We have prayed for the man you love, for faithfulness and for clarity in your relationship, for the time you desire to spend together, for the return of your belongings, and for your desire for a real and committed relationship. We have prayed that the Lord would draw both of you to seek His will above all else and to walk in purity and wisdom, for we know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are called to honor God in all our relationships, as taught in 1 Cor 6:18. We have asked God to remove confusion and other relationships that are not His will and to lead each person involved according to His perfect plan, trusting in Prov 3:5 and Prov 3:6.
We heard your honest confession that you know some things you have done are wrong and your plea for safety, forgiveness for hurting him, and for trust to remain. We have prayed for your protection and for His mercy and correction over you, and for the restoration and wholeness you long for, that what has felt fallen and lifeless within you would be renewed by Him. We claim the promise that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3 and that He can create in us a clean heart as in Psalm 51:10. We have also lifted up your children, your family and his family, asking for Gods covering, wisdom, knowledge, mercy and peace over each of you and for your health and strength.
We pray now in Jesus Name that the Lord will fill you with His peace and guide your steps, that you would know His love more deeply and that your life would reflect His new life within you so that others may see Him in you. May He grant you discernment to know His will for this relationship and the grace to accept it, and may He make you whole in Christ as you continue to seek Him.
If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has worked. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
