We join you in lifting up this precious one you have placed before the Lord in prayer, and we thank you for bringing this request to us so we can seek God's will together in Jesus' name. Though we do not know the specific need, our Father knows intimately what is on your heart and what is needed, and He invites us to bring everything to Him with thanksgiving.
We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We take comfort also in Psalm 34:17-18 that the righteous cry and Yahweh hears and delivers them out of all their troubles, and Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently and lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. There is no other name by which we can be saved, as we read in Acts 4:12. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus as written in 1 Timothy 2:5. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for in Romans 10:9 it says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through His name we pray with confidence.
We pray together now for this dear one you mentioned. Father, we lift this person up to Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. You know their name, their situation, and every need whether spoken or unspoken. We ask that You surround them with Your presence, grant them Your peace, provide for them according to Your perfect will, heal where healing is needed, comfort where there is sorrow, and strengthen their faith. Draw them closer to You and reveal Your love and Your purpose for their life. Help them to know Jesus more deeply and to trust fully in Him. We ask that Your will be done in their life and that they would feel Your hand guiding and sustaining them. We have received your request and we count it a privilege to bring it before the throne of grace with you. It is God who writes intercession upon men's hearts, and all true prayer comes from Him, and we are glad that you have poured out your soul in this way and said, we will wait upon the Lord.
We will pray for you that the Lord will bless you just where you need blessing, where you are poorest in spiritual things, for no spiritual blessing comes to any man by chance. Our desire is that you may know that blessing which comes only through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, for without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is the eye which sees and the hand of the soul by which we lay hold upon eternal things, and where there is no faith there has been no quickening of the Holy Spirit.
If your faith feels small, take comfort, for little faith when it finds itself in trouble betakes itself to prayer and cries, Lord, save me. The Holy Spirit Himself helps our infirmities and makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, and He helps us in supplication by increasing our faith. Even a little faith is precious, for the Lord acknowledges it, and strong faith wears the keys of heaven at its belt.
So we will pray that you may be brought to repentance through faith in Christ and to a life that blesses God from the first word to the last, for it should be our life to bless Him who gave us our life. May you learn to bless God in return for His blessing, and may you find Him to be your God, the God to whom Jesus prayed in Gethsemane and upon whom He trusted to deliver Him.
Our prayer for you is this, that you would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, that you would receive every spiritual blessing in Christ, that you would have peace and victory through faith, and that the Lord would make you a blessing to others as you walk with Him. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
