Thank you for trusting us with these heavy burdens and allowing us to pray with you. You are carrying several concerns at once for work, for health, and for family, and that weight is real.

The story of Job speaks to this kind of season. Job faced loss and pain on many fronts at the same time, and he did not understand why. What we learn from his story is that God knew Job fully and had already taken notice of him, and even when Satan sought to test him, God set limits. God had placed a hedge around His servant. Cultures and times have changed since then, but the deep needs of the human heart and the questions that come with suffering remain the same. One comfort from Job is that God is at work even when it feels as though He has forsaken us, and He remains fair and just in all His ways. Job's friends tried to explain his suffering by accusing him and offering quick answers, and they became miserable comforters. True comfort does not come from blaming or assuming hidden wrong, but from turning to God Himself.

That is the invitation for you and for those you love. To seek the Lord, to receive His word into your heart, and to find peace in Him. Job longed for someone who could stand between God and man, and that longing is answered in Jesus Christ, who alone brings us to God and through whom we have hope beyond pain and confusion. Apart from Him life is dark, but in Him there is mercy, forgiveness, and the preserving of our spirits.

We pray now for each need you mentioned.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring before You the man who is being told not to come in when he is scheduled. You know his need for provision and dignity in work. We ask You to open hours and shifts for him, to provide steady work, and to give favor with those who make schedules. Provide for his needs according to Your kindness.

We lift up the one whose feet and legs are swelling and whose back is hurting. You formed the body and You see this pain. We ask for healing, for swelling to go down, for relief from pain, and for wisdom to not overdo and to rest well. Give strength and restoration.

We lift up the one who is under the weather and coughing, and who has pain in her breast and swelling in her stomach. Lord, touch her body, ease the cough, relieve the pain, and bring down the swelling. Grant wisdom to doctors if needed, and bring comfort and healing.

We lift up the one hoping to be hired in September. We ask for open doors, for favor in the hiring process, and for Your clear leading to the right place. Let Your will be done and let there be provision.

We ask all of this trusting that You are good, that You hear prayer, and that You grant life and favor and preserve those who trust in You. Help each one to look to You, to rest in Your care, and to know Your presence in this hard season. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift up all of the needs you shared with us. We have been praying for your loved one who has been getting his hours cut and being told not to come in after he is already scheduled, that the Lord would open up hours and shifts for him and provide steady work. We have also been praying for the one whose feet and legs are swelling and whose back is hurting, that God would bring healing and relief and help him not to overdo it, for the one who is under the weather and coughing and dealing with breast pain and swelling in the stomach, that the Lord would touch her body and restore her health, and for the one hoping to be hired in September, that God would grant favor in that process.

We trust that God hears our prayers and that He cares for each of these needs. As it is written, He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3 and we know that His favor rests on those who seek Him as shown in Prov 3:4.

If your requests have been answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your requests do not seem to have been answered yet, please post them again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray that the Lord will provide for every work need, bring healing to every body, and pour out His favor and peace upon you all as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name Amen.
