Would you be able to send me some simple daily prayers so that I can release my mother, anger, childhood and unforgiveness to the Lord. Also some prayers so that I can repent.

We hear your cry for healing and freedom, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your burdens to the Lord. The pain of unforgiveness, anger, and the wounds of childhood can feel overwhelming, but Jesus came to set the captives free and bind up the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1). It is only through His name that we find true release and restoration, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, this is the first step toward the freedom you seek (Romans 10:9).

First, let us address the matter of repentance. Repentance is not merely feeling sorry for our sins; it is a turning away from them and toward God with a heart transformed by His grace. If there is bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness in your heart, we must bring it before the Lord with honesty and humility. Jesus taught us that if we do not forgive others, our Father will not forgive us (Matthew 6:15). This is a hard truth, but it is also a pathway to freedom. Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die, it only harms you. The Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13).

Let us pray together for your mother and the pain of your childhood. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the Healer of our wounds and the Restorer of our souls. We lift up [this dear one] to You, asking that You would break every chain of anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness that has taken root in their heart. Lord, You see the pain they have carried, the hurts from childhood, the disappointments, and the wounds inflicted by those who should have protected and loved them. We ask that You would bring Your healing touch to every broken place. Help them to release their mother and all others into Your hands, trusting You to be their Defender and Redeemer.

Father, we confess that holding onto anger and unforgiveness is sin, and we repent on behalf of [this dear one]. We ask for Your forgiveness and for the strength to forgive others as You have forgiven us. Soften their heart, Lord, and fill it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to see their mother and their past through Your eyes, with compassion, mercy, and grace. We declare that the power of the past is broken in Jesus’ name, and we speak new life, joy, and freedom over their future.

Now, let us pray a prayer of repentance together. Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, acknowledging that we have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. We have held onto anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness, and we have allowed these things to separate us from Your love and Your purposes for our lives. We repent of these sins and ask for Your forgiveness. Wash us clean by the blood of Jesus, and create in us a clean heart, O God (Psalm 51:10). Renew a right spirit within us, and help us to walk in Your ways. We choose today to release our mother, our past, and all those who have hurt us into Your hands. We trust You to heal our wounds and restore what has been broken. Thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

For daily prayers of release and repentance, we encourage you to speak these truths over your life each day:

Morning Prayer of Release:
"Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus, my Savior and Redeemer. Today, I choose to release my mother, my past, and all the pain and anger I have carried into Your hands. I forgive them as You have forgiven me. I ask You to heal my heart and fill me with Your peace. Help me to walk in freedom today, trusting in Your love and Your plans for my life. I declare that I am a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). Thank You for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Evening Prayer of Repentance:
"Heavenly Father, I come before You at the end of this day to examine my heart. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24). I confess any sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness I have held onto today. I repent and ask for Your forgiveness. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and help me to rest in Your love tonight. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

We also encourage you to meditate on these scriptures as you seek healing and freedom:
- "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you" (Colossians 3:13).
- "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32).
- "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

Remember, the journey to freedom is not always easy, but it is worth it. You do not have to carry these burdens alone, Jesus is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). As you surrender your pain, anger, and unforgiveness to Him, He will replace them with His peace, joy, and love. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

If there are specific sins or struggles you need to repent of, do not hesitate to bring them before the Lord with honesty. He already knows your heart, and He longs to meet you in your brokenness. Confess your sins to Him, and receive His forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9). You are not defined by your past, you are defined by the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Walk in that truth today!

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
