Beloved of All
Prayers for protection over my son and me from our trespassers neighbors coworkers family and managers Prayers that no weapon formed against my son and me shall prosper. Prayers for discernment guidance wisdom strength and knowledge for my son and me.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your plea for protection, discernment, and strength for you and your son. The Word of God assures us that no weapon formed against His children shall prosper, and we stand firmly on this promise today. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says the Lord" (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We declare this truth over your lives, trusting that the Lord is your refuge and fortress in times of trouble.

Father God, we ask for Your mighty hand of protection to surround this mother and her son. Shield them from the harm intended by neighbors, coworkers, family, and managers who may seek to bring strife or division into their lives. "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:4 WEB). Lord, we pray that You would expose any schemes of the enemy and render them powerless. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding their steps and guiding their paths.

We also ask for discernment, wisdom, and knowledge to flood their minds and hearts. In a world filled with deception and confusion, grant them the ability to see truth clearly and to walk in it boldly. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). Father, we pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who leads and guides into all truth. Give them the strength to stand firm in their faith, even when faced with opposition or adversity.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their lives. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We pray that they would walk in the confidence of Your love and protection, knowing that You are with them always. Help them to forgive those who may have wronged them, just as You have forgiven us, and to release any bitterness or resentment that could hinder their peace.

We also lift up their relationship with You, Lord. If they have not yet surrendered their lives fully to Jesus Christ, we pray that You would draw them near to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6 WEB). We pray that they would come to know You intimately, trusting in Your sacrifice on the cross for their salvation and eternal life.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness to watch over this mother and her son. Strengthen them daily, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them, and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:37-39 WEB). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weariness behind your words, feeling surrounded by threats from so many sides can be draining and isolating. We’re standing with you and your son in prayer, asking God to shield you both and to give you the clear discernment and steady strength you need.

Fear often amplifies what we can’t control, and when the challenges come from neighbors, coworkers, and even family, it’s easy for that fear to settle deep in the heart. We know you’re not asking for conflict but for protection and wisdom, and God faithfully provides both. In the meantime, practical steps can help settle your anxious thoughts: if there are concrete safety concerns, take reasonable precautions, lock doors, set firm boundaries, and limit access where you can. But then release the rest into God’s hands, because His perfect love is able to quiet what fear stirs up.

One thing that has helped many of us is to take each specific worry and pray through it once, naming it before the Lord, then choosing not to keep rehashing it. Ask Him for the discernment to know when to speak, when to stay quiet, when to act, and when to step back. Then anchor your daily thoughts in who He is, perhaps a psalm like 91 or 121, read simply as a reminder that you are not alone or unprotected.

Father, we lift up this mother and her son to You. Surround them with Your strong protection, and let no weapon formed against them succeed. Grant them the wisdom to see clearly and the courage to walk forward without constant dread. Quiet their hearts with the peace that only You can give, and help them rest in the knowledge that they are safe in Your care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The storm of opposition beats against you, but the everlasting arms are beneath, and no weapon forged against you shall prosper. The promise stands sure: “He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Let not the malice of trespassers and the strife of tongues shake your confidence. The Sovereignty of the Lord is a pillow for your head; He sits upon the throne, and none can pluck you from His hand. Wait upon Him, and you shall renew your strength, strength not your own, but drawn from that measureless fountain which eternity cannot exhaust. Your weakness is the very sphere in which His power is made perfect. He is the glory of your strength, for apart from Him you have none.

As for discernment, guidance, and wisdom, He has promised to guide you with His counsel. Yield to His superior judgment, and let grace dethrone obstinacy in your heart. The hasty spirit breeds mischief, but they that wait upon the Lord shall not be put to shame. He will direct your paths, and afterward receive you to glory. In all your trials, remember: it is through the Cross of Christ that we are more than conquerors. The enemies of that Cross, whether in the world or professing the name, mind earthly things, but your treasure is in heaven. Fear them not, for greater is He that is in you.

Pray without ceasing, and let your request be made known unto God. He will increase your strength, give you knowledge of His will, and surround you with a wall of fire. The Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward. Go forward in this confidence, and the peace that passes understanding shall guard your heart and mind.

Yours in the fellowship of His sufferings and the power of His resurrection,
C. H. Spurgeon

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The shield of faith is not a small one, but must cover your whole frame. Let it not be so scanty as to leave your feet or any part exposed, for the enemy knows where to strike. When neighbors, coworkers, or even those of your own household become adversaries, they are not your true enemies. The darts they throw, anger, slander, envy, are the devil’s weapons, and fire consumes. But as red-hot iron plunged into water loses its flame, so an angry person falling in with your patience will be quenched. You are not harmed; rather, you benefit, and the adversary is subdued.

Neither permit your own heart to furnish a handle for their censure. Let your life be illustrious, your discourse meek and gentle, affording no pretext for those eager to find fault. The word you speak, when it is approved and cannot be condemned, is of unspeakable advantage. Should they still rise up, remember that the fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries is reserved; but for those who hold fast their hope and faith, that fire cannot touch. The same fire that consumes the chaff does not injure the gold.

When you ask that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, understand that the weapons of impurity, of filthy words, of envy and glory and all diseases of the soul, are already overthrown for those who have taken refuge in Christ. You see them cast down dead, with their horses and riders. Therefore, in dangers and toils, put forward your hope and your faith to protect you, and your armor shall remain uninjured. The divine power that pervaded the apostles and made their word prosper in the presence of enemies is not diminished. Believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that seek Him.

Fear not the turmoil when deceivers and enemies surround you, for the war is twofold, and the storm may be great, but He who revealed the Son to Peter will also give you discernment, wisdom, and strength. These are not human opinions but divine doctrines, and by them you will be able to retain your own souls and beat down reasonings that rise against the truth. If you have received the knowledge of the truth, walk in it steadfastly; for trees planted and watered that yield no fruit are pulled up by the roots and handed to the fire. But you, being watchful and patient, will see the adversaries’ weapons turned back upon themselves, and your own peace kept secure.

You are reaching for exactly what God delights to give. When the threats around you multiply, from neighbors and coworkers to those who should be family or fair managers, the instinct is to cry out for a shield. And God will be that shield. But notice what your own request pairs with protection: discernment, guidance, wisdom. That ordering is no accident. It is the cry of a heart that has learned the secret of being kept safe.

The world’s wisdom would tell you to strategize, to gather your own weapons of influence or retaliation, to watch every move your adversaries make so you can counter them. That sort of wisdom is earthly and unspiritual. It feeds on envy and strife, and it leads to every evil work. God has made it foolish. But there is another wisdom, one that stands in the streets and cries out to be found. It is pure, peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated. When you make that wisdom your sister and call understanding your closest friend, they become your deliverers. They will keep you from the man who speaks perverse things and from those who flatter with their words while plotting harm. This is not a passive knowledge; it is the very mind of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

So come to the Lord not just with your list of enemies, but with the same heart that once asked for wisdom above riches or the downfall of foes. Ask to see every situation through His understanding. By wisdom He founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens. That same wisdom will teach you when to speak, when to be silent, and when to move your foot from an evil path. It will make your eyes look straight ahead, so you do not turn to the right or to the left in panic or anger. This is not about finding a secret inner strength that will fail you when the pressure grows. It is about drawing on a strength outside yourself, the saving strength of His right hand.

The promise stands: no weapon formed against you will prosper. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, in legal maneuvers, in office politics, in the approval of others, but they are brought down and fallen. You will not be, because you remember the name of the Lord your God. He is your strength and your shield. Your heart can trust in Him and be helped. Even when those around you intend evil and devise schemes they cannot carry out, He hears from His holy heaven. Let wisdom have her perfect work. Walk in the purity and peaceableness that comes from above, sow the things of peace, and you will reap a harvest of righteousness. The God who gave wisdom above all and then added what was not even requested will guard your going out and your coming in.
