We hear your cry for protection, discernment, and strength, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of God, who is our refuge and fortress in times of trouble. The weight of living among those who may seek to harm or trespass against you is heavy, and we lift it to the Lord, who sees all and judges justly.
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus into your heart, for He alone can save and protect you in ways no earthly force can.
Now, let us pray over your request with the authority we have in Christ Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Protector and Deliverer. We lift up ### and ### to You, asking for Your divine shield of protection to surround them. Lord, You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of trespass, harassment, and malice coming from neighbors, coworkers, family, or managers in Jesus' name. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
Father, grant them discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and wisdom to navigate every situation with godly integrity. Fill them with Your strength when they are weary and knowledge to walk in the paths You have set before them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would turn the hearts of those who seek to harm them, that they may come to know You and walk in repentance. If any are unrepentant, Lord, we ask that You would thwart their plans and render their efforts futile.
We also pray for their spiritual growth, that they would draw nearer to You each day, seeking Your face and Your will above all else. Equip them with the full armor of God so they may stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Let them be rooted and grounded in Your love, knowing that nothing can separate them from it (Romans 8:38-39).
In Jesus' name, we declare victory over every attack and restoration over every area of their lives that has been affected by these trials. We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we thank You for hearing and answering our prayers. Amen.
In times like these, it is easy to feel overwhelmed or tempted to respond in kind to those who wrong us. However, Scripture calls us to a higher standard. Jesus taught us to "love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we ignore injustice or fail to set boundaries, but we do so with a heart that seeks redemption rather than revenge. Pray for those who trespass against you, for this is the heart of Christ.
We also encourage you to meditate on Psalm 91, which is a powerful declaration of God's protection over His children. Speak it over your lives daily, and let its truths sink deep into your hearts. Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47), and He is faithful to fight for you.
Lastly, if there are areas in your life or your son's life that are not aligned with God's will, such as unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin, we urge you to bring them before the Lord in humility. Confession and repentance open the door for God's healing and protection to flow more freely. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
You are not alone in this fight. We stand with you, and more importantly, God stands with you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

The plea of a parent for her child is most natural, and the cry for protection from trespassers and adversaries is one that God delights to answer. You ask that no weapon formed against you shall prosper; this is a promise folded into the very covenant of grace, and it belongs to every soul that rests in the finished work of Christ. Do not look upon the strength of your foes, nor measure your own frailty against their malice. The glory of your strength is to have none of your own, but to find all supply in God. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; and as your days, so shall your strength be, strength not stored up in advance like a miser’s hoard, but dealt out moment by moment by the hand of Him who giveth power to the faint.
For wisdom and guidance, bow yourself in lowly submission to the will of God, and thereby you shall be furnished with an unerring compass. Avoid everything that is evil, for holiness is near akin to perfect wisdom. Haste not in fretfulness, for that begets a world of mischief; but in quietness and confidence shall be your strength. The joy of the Lord is your strength, a joy that springs not from circumstance but from knowing that all the attributes of God are engaged for your defence: His power your shield, His wisdom your guide, His faithfulness your foundation. When your own wisdom fails, then is the time to fling yourself upon the Divine wisdom; when your own strength is dried up, then cling to the arm that never tires. The Lord shall be a wall of fire round about you both, and the glory in your midst. Therefore, let not your heart be troubled; commit your way unto Him, and He will bring it to pass. The very weakness you feel is a pledge that His strength will be perfected in you. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

When you cry out for protection from those who trespass against you, whether neighbors or coworkers or even kin, you are naming the common plight of all who seek to walk uprightly. The adversaries press in, and no one is exempt from their snares. Yet the true enemy is not flesh and blood, but the devil and those who minister to him. For this reason, you must make your life illustrious and your words meek and gentle, affording no handle to those who wish to censure you. A blameless life is an unspeakable advantage in the spiritual combat.
You ask for discernment and wisdom, and rightly so. But seek not the wisdom of this world, which terminates here and cannot profit its possessors. That wisdom is foolishness before God. The wisdom you need is Christ Himself, who has been made unto us wisdom from on high. When the wise of this age consider the gospel folly, remember that the foolishness of God is wiser than men. He admitted the uneducated first to show that all men require this heavenly gift. Therefore, do not be anxious when weapons are formed against you, for it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise.” The truth has a way of shining forth even through what adversaries both do and suffer, and their own counsels are brought to naught.
Equip yourselves with sound doctrine, able to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. Every believer must be ready to beat down reasonings and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. This is not a task for teachers alone; you also, in your own station, must wield the word that cannot be condemned. When your life corresponds to the gospel, gentle and steadfast, the adversaries will find no pretext. The fire of divine indignation indeed devours the adversaries of virtue, but those who are in Christ are sheltered.
Pray then with confidence that no weapon formed against you and your son shall prosper. Ask for strength and knowledge, and walk in the hidden wisdom which God foreordained before the worlds unto our glory. Live so that your very life becomes a ministry of the word, rebuking the opponents by your patience and trust. The same Lord who stopped the mouths of His accusers will guard you. Let your cry rise up: He who is Wisdom itself will guide your steps and bring to nothing every counsel raised against you.

I have prayed with you that no weapon formed against you and your son will prosper. The threats you face from neighbors, coworkers, family, and managers are real, but God’s defense is greater. His wisdom is the shield that preserves those who seek it.
Let your first pursuit be the wisdom that comes from above. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and when you search for it as diligently as you would for hidden silver, you will find the fear of the Lord and the knowledge of God. That is where true safety begins. Wisdom will keep you from the flattering words and the destructive paths of those who intend mischief. The wicked may study devastation and speak violence, but their own plans will be rooted out. The upright, the ones who walk in godly understanding, will remain secure.
This is not a passive protection. Wisdom calls out to you, inviting you to eat of her bread and drink of her wine. That means daily choosing God’s ways over your own reasoning. In moments of confusion, ask for heavenly discernment. The wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy. It will steer you away from envy and strife and every evil work. When you and your son learn to respond with that kind of wisdom, you build your house on a foundation that cannot be shaken.
Do not lean on your own cleverness or try to outmaneuver those who oppose you. Cease from self-made plans born of anxiety. A wise person trusts in the Lord’s strength, not human striving. God honors such dependence. Solomon asked for wisdom to lead God’s people, and because he did not ask for riches or vengeance, God granted him understanding and so much more. In the same way, when you set your hearts on His wisdom, He will provide the strength and knowledge you need for every encounter.
That does not mean the threats vanish overnight. But wisdom is a defense stronger than ten mighty men in a city. It gives life to those who hold onto it. Through every scheme and every harmful word, you can stand firm, knowing that the Lord sees the intentions of the wicked. They may not sleep unless they have caused someone to fall, but they will not succeed. Their own mischief will turn back upon them. God, in His timing, makes foolish the wisdom of this world.
While you wait, guard your hearts. Hate evil. Fear the Lord and depart from iniquity. That reverence for Him becomes health to your body and marrow to your bones. In the secret place of trust, you are sanctified, set apart for His use, and no enemy can snatch you from His hand. The one who finds wisdom finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.
