Asking for prayers for salvation for myself ( ### ) and my aunt ### ...in my mind the cultic enemy is trying to steal my soul and others ...and I feel lost hopeless and stupid right now please pray for me and my aunt y'all I love you all!

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not lost, hopeless, or stupid; you are deeply loved by the Father, who sent His Son to rescue you. The thief may come to devour, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

First, we must address the foundation of salvation. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is not a ritual or a formula, it is a surrender of your life to the One who already surrendered His for you. If you are unsure whether you have truly placed your faith in Christ, we urge you to do so now. The enemy cannot steal what has been sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14).

For your aunt, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart and draw her to repentance and faith in Jesus. The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, but is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to blind her to the truth of the gospel.

We also rebuke the spirit of deception that has tried to convince you that your soul is in danger of being stolen. The enemy is a liar, and his native language is deception (John 8:44). Jesus has already claimed you as His own if you belong to Him. No one can snatch you out of His hand (John 10:28-29). The battle is real, but the victory is already won. You are not fighting for victory, you are fighting from victory.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We lift up and her aunt to You, Lord. We ask that You would break every chain of deception, fear, and hopelessness that the enemy has tried to wrap around their hearts. Holy Spirit, flood their minds with the truth of Your Word. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord Jesus, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to in a powerful way. Let her feel Your presence, Your love, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If she has not yet fully surrendered her life to You, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself now. Let her confess You as Lord and believe in her heart that You died for her sins and rose again. Seal her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let her walk in the assurance of her salvation.

For her aunt, we ask that You would soften her heart to receive the gospel. Send laborers into her life, people who will share Your love and truth with her. Open her eyes to see the beauty of Your sacrifice and the hope of eternal life. Break every stronghold of unbelief, Lord, and let her come to know You as her Savior.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies in the name of Jesus. We declare that and her aunt belong to You, Lord. No weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their minds, and their spirits. Fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and Your strength.

Father, we ask that You would surround with godly community, believers who will encourage her, pray for her, and walk with her in her faith journey. Help her to find a Bible-believing church where she can grow in her relationship with You. Teach her to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). You do not change, and Your promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in and her aunt (Philippians 1:6).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, for the Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Start with the Gospel of John, and let the truth of who Jesus is wash over you. Find a local church that preaches the Bible faithfully, and surround yourself with believers who can support and encourage you. The enemy wants you to isolate yourself, but the Lord calls you into community.

If you are struggling with feelings of worthlessness or stupidity, remember that God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27). Your value is not found in your performance or your feelings but in the fact that Christ died for you (Romans 5:8). You are a new creation in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17), and He delights in you (Zephaniah 3:17).

Keep pressing into Jesus. The battle may be fierce, but the war has already been won. Stand firm, dear one, and let the Lord fight for you.

We hear how heavy and disorienting this feels right now, the mental assault that tries to convince you you're lost, hopeless, or beyond help. That is an exhausting place to be, and we're so sorry you're walking through it. When your own mind feels like a battleground, even simple things can feel overwhelming, and it's not stupid to feel shaken. It's human.

What stands out to us is that even in the middle of this fog, you're still reaching out, still asking for prayer, still speaking love toward your aunt. That impulse doesn't come from an enemy; it comes from somewhere truer. The hopelessness you're describing often works by convincing you that how you feel right now is how things really are, permanently. But feelings lie, especially when we're worn down. You are not what these accusing thoughts say you are.

For your aunt, we're joining you in asking God to draw her heart and guard her mind. For you, we want to offer one steady anchor: you don't have to untangle every dark thought alone. Sometimes the bravest next step is simply speaking aloud to God exactly what you typed here, no filters, no tidy words. And if there's a trusted pastor or mature friend you can let into this struggle, that can break the isolation these battles thrive in.

Let's pray together.

Jesus, we lift up this person and their aunt to You right now. You see the confusion and fear, and You aren't put off by any of it. Quiet the voices that scream condemnation and hopelessness. Bring clarity where the enemy has sown chaos. Wrap this person in Your peace, the kind that doesn't make sense but holds steady anyway. Draw their aunt to Yourself with gentle strength, and let them both experience Your love in ways that cut through the darkness. We pray in Your name, amen.

The Lord of mercy look on such as you, for hopeless is man’s help! Yet He has laid help upon One that is mighty, who can cause His voice to ring with sweet encouragements in the deathlike stillness of the dungeons of despair. The cultic enemy rages because he knows his time is short, lashing his poor slave with excess of malice, as if he may utterly destroy you before the Deliverer arrives. But be not dismayed: the very worst enemy that your fears could conjure up is already a defeated foe in Christ.

You cry that you feel lost, hopeless, stupid. So the devil would have you believe. But he is a liar from the beginning. By nature, lost; by practice, lost; yes, under the dominion of Satan you may be, but the worst remains to be told. Who can deliver the man who is God’s lawful captive? Such is the helpless, hopeless case of the sinner! Yet behold, the Lord has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. He declares, “I have found a ransom.” The cure was hopeless in itself, yet absolutely certain when Jesus puts forth His healing hand. There is nothing that you can do, nor that I can do; but there is nothing which Jesus cannot do.

This is the simple method of salvation: “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.” Look to Christ, who is the salvation of God. In all thine agony, poor soul, in all thy repentance for thy guilt, look unto Christ, and find pardon. The Scripture saith, “Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” Faith is trusting in Him. Trust now. The delay would not be lost time, yet if you at once lay hold on Him, you will go on your way singing, “I am forgiven; I am a miracle of grace; this day is my spiritual birthday.”

And your dear ###, the same Lord delighteth in healing those whom all others have left for lost. His deliverance is attended with enrichment; He brings forth His captives, even with silver and gold. When the lamb is slain, the enemy’s power is broken. For you both, the ransom is found; the way is open. Think not so hardly of your Father as to imagine He will cast you out. He has blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions. Glory be to God for such a rich salvation as this! I trust you shall soon find peace with God through Jesus Christ, and together you shall rejoice in His salvation.

You said you feel lost, hopeless, and stupid. But that very enemy you speak of never despairs of your destruction. He is a monster who never rests, never gives up hope of dragging you down. And here you are despairing of your own salvation. Do you not see the contradiction? If that wicked one can still hope to harm you, how much more should you, a soul bought by the blood of Christ, cling to hope for your deliverance? Do not let your despair do his work for him.

It is not the falling into sin that is dangerous; it is the lying there, the giving up, that is the loss of all salvation. The wounds of the soul are never incurable. The thief on the cross turned in a single moment and entered Paradise. The martyrs endured every plot and storm with naked bodies, wrestled, and triumphed. And you, feeling crushed right now, still stand in the race. You have taken a hard blow, but you can rise. Will you let despair make you supine when the medicine of repentance is so near?

I am not saying this lightly. The Apostle himself trembled and feared for his children lest his labor among them be in vain, yet he never gave way to hopelessness. He said, “lest,” not “I have labored in vain,” for though he saw the storm, he held out the calm that they themselves could return to. So I say to you: do not make void the labors Christ poured out for you and your aunt. You are not yet lost. He still stands ready to save.

Bring your aunt with you, cling together to His promises. Cry out to Him who Himself was troubled in soul and even sought deliverance from death, yet entrusted all to the Father. He knows your infirmities. He is the one who plows the depths, who does not weary even when we are slow to bear fruit. Do not abandon your own soul. If a fisherman can cast his net all day and catch nothing, yet not despair, how much more can Christ’s own patience bring forth life in you, if only you persevere and reach out for the salvation that He freely gives?

Pray without ceasing. I join my faith to yours for your soul and your aunt’s. May the Lord rebuke the enemy and grant you both repentance and life. Only do not give up.

When you feel that a darkness is hunting your soul, trying to drag you into hopelessness, the very words you used, lost and hopeless, tell me you are right where God often begins His most merciful work. There is something eternally precious about your soul, and the enemy knows it. He wants to steal it, cheaply, but the Lord Jesus Christ values it more than the entire world. What would it profit you to gain everything this fading world can offer, only to lose your soul? Nothing. Your soul is eternal; everything else will pass away. So when you feel that tug-of-war, know that God is also seeking you, and what He offers is not a trade but a rescue.

Think of David, a man after God’s own heart, who often spoke to his own soul when it was cast down. He would say, Why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; He will yet deliver you. That is not just poetry; it is spiritual warfare. You feel lost, but the Good Shepherd leaves the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep and carries it home with joy. You feel like a coin that has rolled into a dark corner, worthless because it is lost, but the Holy Spirit sweeps the house persistently until you are found. That searching is happening right now, in your heart, even through this prayer request. The very fact you are reaching out tells me God is drawing near.

The enemy may try to convince you that you are too far gone, that you have sinned too much, that your mind is too weak. But Saul, even when he had played the fool and erred exceedingly, could still say, I have sinned. And Jesus, when He ate with sinners, did not become defiled; He cleansed them. He receives sinners. He came to seek and to save the lost. So your feelings of stupidity or despair are not a barrier, they are an invitation to stop trusting in your own strength and to let His strength be made perfect in your weakness.

I join you in praying for your salvation and for your aunt. But I also urge you to cry out directly to the One who restores souls. Tell Him, “Deliver my soul from the sword, my only one from the power of the enemy.” The Lord is your light and your salvation, so whom shall you fear? He is the strength of your life. The world’s loudest threats, even spiritual ones, cannot drown out His still, small voice calling you home. Do not exchange what is eternal for a moment’s relief through anything less than Christ. He is the answer. Hold on to that hope, and let your soul pant after Him as a deer pants for water. We stand with you in this.
