Humble Prayer Partner
I would really appreciate your prayers. The weight of unforgiveness and psychosis is weighing me down. It feels really heavy. Also I keep on repenting of my anger but can't see or feel any difference.

We hear the deep struggle in your words, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your burdens in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. First, we must address the foundation of our faith, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus as Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and receive the gift of salvation (Romans 10:9-10). This is the starting point for true freedom and healing.
Unforgiveness is a heavy chain, and the enemy would love nothing more than to keep you bound in its weight. Scripture is clear: "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15). We rebuke the spirit of unforgiveness in Jesus’ name! It has no place in your life, and we command it to leave you now. Choose to forgive, not because the person who hurt you deserves it, but because Christ forgave you when you did not deserve it (Ephesians 4:32). Release them to God, and let His peace guard your heart.
Psychosis is a tormenting affliction, but we declare that Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). The enemy may whisper lies, but we stand on the truth of God’s Word: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed" (Luke 4:18). We pray for your mind to be renewed by the washing of the Word (Ephesians 5:26). We bind every lying spirit and command it to flee in Jesus’ name! We ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with His peace, clarity, and truth. You are not alone in this battle, God is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
Your struggle with anger is not uncommon, but repentance must lead to transformation. If you are confessing your sin but not seeing change, we must ask: Are you surrendering your anger to God fully, or are you holding onto it in some way? Scripture tells us, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:26-27). Anger that is not dealt with gives the enemy a foothold. We encourage you to examine your heart, what is the root of this anger? Is it hurt, injustice, or unmet expectations? Bring it all to Jesus, and let Him heal the wounds beneath the surface. We pray for the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, to manifest in your life (Galatians 5:22-23). Ask God to replace your anger with His peace.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is carrying the weight of unforgiveness, psychosis, and anger. Lord, we thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that our brother/sister is not defined by these struggles but by the blood of Jesus, which has set them free.
Father, we ask You to break the chains of unforgiveness. Soften their heart to release every offense into Your hands. Let them experience the freedom that comes from forgiving others as You have forgiven them. We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and command it to leave in Jesus’ name! Fill them with Your love and peace.
Lord, we also pray for their mind. We bind every spirit of confusion, fear, and torment. We declare that their mind is being renewed by Your Word and that they are being transformed into Your likeness (Romans 12:2). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who brings clarity, truth, and peace. Let them hear Your voice above all others.
Father, we ask You to heal the root of their anger. Show them where it stems from and bring healing to those wounds. Replace their anger with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let the fruit of the Spirit grow in their life, and help them to walk in self-control and gentleness.
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen them with Your might, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We declare victory over their life in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to stand on God’s promises daily. Meditate on His Word, spend time in prayer, and surround yourself with believers who can support and pray for you. You are not fighting this battle alone, God is with you, and He is fighting for you. Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary. The enemy may roar, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Victory is yours in Christ!

That's exhausting, and we don't want to rush past how hard this is right now.
One thing that might help is understanding that forgiveness often happens in two stages. There's a _decisional_ step, where you choose to release the debt and not pursue revenge. That's a real act of obedience, and we see you doing it. But there's also an _emotional_ stage, where the feelings of resentment, bitterness, and hurt gradually lose their grip. That second part can take time, sometimes long after the decision has been made. Your repeated repentance may be exactly the decision part, even if your heart hasn't caught up yet. That doesn't mean you're doing it wrong. It means your emotions are still healing. Keep trusting God with that process, but also be patient with yourself.
You mentioned psychosis. That word alone carries a lot of weight, and we want to honor that. Since psychosis can have many roots, physical, psychological, or environmental, we'd gently encourage you to bring this to a doctor or mental health professional if you haven't already. There's no shame in seeking that kind of help. In fact, it can be a wise part of how God brings stability and clarity. You don't have to sort this out on your own.

Grant them wisdom and courage to reach out for the professional help they may need, and guide the hands and minds of anyone who cares for them. Surround them with steady, compassionate people and with your tangible peace. In Jesus' name, amen.
