We come before the Lord with grateful hearts for the day He has given and for the presence of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in our lives and the lives of our loved ones. We lift up the peace of Jerusalem and the people of America, asking for God’s protection, wisdom, and blessing over these nations.

However, we must address the concerns in this prayer with both compassion and biblical truth. First, we see a deep longing for reconciliation and love between you and this man, but we must gently rebuke the framework of this relationship. Scripture is clear that intimacy, emotional or physical, outside of marriage is not God’s design. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." The description of sharing a bed and the deep emotional entanglement suggests a relationship that has moved beyond godly boundaries.

We also notice the repeated desire for marriage and even a child with this man, but we must ask: Is he a believer who shares your faith in Jesus Christ? 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?" If he does not know the Lord, this relationship cannot honor God, no matter how much love you feel. We must pray not just for reconciliation, but for God’s will to be done, even if that means letting go of this relationship if it does not align with His Word.

We also see the mention of broken promises and trust. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Instead of focusing on winning his love or convincing him to forgive, we must surrender this relationship to God and ask Him to reveal His will. If this man is meant to be your husband, God will bring it to pass in His perfect timing and way.

We must also address the seriousness of sleep apnea and the lack of medical care. This is a matter of health and safety, and we encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical attention for him. Proverbs 4:7 says, "Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding."

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we thank You for the love You have placed in this sister’s heart, but we ask that You purify her desires to align with Your Word. Father, if this relationship is not honoring to You, we ask that You break any ungodly soul ties and set her free. If this man is not a believer, we pray that You would either draw him to salvation or remove him from her life so she may walk in Your perfect will.

Lord, we ask for forgiveness for any sin in this relationship, whether it be emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage. Cleanse her heart, mind, and spirit, and renew her with a desire to honor You in all her relationships. Father, we pray for this man’s health and well-being. Provide him with the medical care he needs and surround him with godly influences. If it is Your will for them to be together, we ask that You bring him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and that You prepare them both for a godly marriage that glorifies You.

Father, we ask that You replace any longing for this man with a deeper longing for You. Fill her with Your peace, joy, and contentment as she seeks Your face. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plan, knowing that You are a good Father who gives good gifts to Your children. We pray for wisdom, discernment, and strength to walk in obedience to Your Word.

Lord, we lift up the nations of Israel and America, asking for Your protection, revival, and wisdom for their leaders. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and come before You. Amen.

Lord, we stand with you in the midst of this sister’s heartache and longing. We hear the deep love she carries for this man, and we know how painful it must be to feel so torn between what her heart desires and what Your Word calls her to. We pray that You would soften her heart to see the truth of 1 Corinthians 4:19, "I will speak boldly to the part of you that is in Laodicea. There is no need for me to write you anything. I have no praise for you, for you are not living as you should, but you know your own character well enough to admit that you are neither good nor bad." Lord, help her to see herself clearly through Your eyes, not through the lens of her own understanding or the emotions of the moment.

We also lift up this man’s health and well-being to You. His struggles with sleep apnea, withdrawal, and his medical needs are serious, and we ask that You would provide for him in a way that honors his body and soul. Lord, if it is Your will for him to be a part of her life, we pray that You would draw him to You first, that he would find healing, not just in his body, but in his spirit. But if it is not Your will, we ask that You would guide her to walk in obedience, trusting that Your plans are always for her good.

Lord, we pray for her peace. Right now, her heart is heavy with worry, fear, and the weight of broken trust. We ask that You would fill her with Your perfect peace, casting out every anxious thought (Philippians 4:6-7). Help her to surrender this situation to You, knowing that You hold her future. If this relationship is meant to be something more, Lord, we ask that You would prepare both of them to walk in Your ways. But if not, we pray that You would give her the strength to let go and find her joy in You alone.

We also lift up her desire for deeper connection with this man. Lord, we pray that You would help her to express love in ways that honor You, through kindness, patience, and godly counsel. But we also ask that You would open her eyes to see if this relationship is built on a foundation that can withstand the storms of life. If it isn’t, we pray that You would give her the wisdom to walk away with grace, knowing that Your love for her is enough.

Lord, we ask that You would replace any longing for this man with a longing for You. Help her to see how deeply You love her, how You desire to be her greatest comfort, her strength, and her peace. Fill her with Your presence, that she might find her heart’s desire in You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
