We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother and brother to our Heavenly Father. We thank you for the faith you have demonstrated in calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His power that healing, deliverance, and peace are made possible.
Father God, we first ask for Your divine healing to touch this brother who is struggling with severe mental health issues. Your Word tells us that You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we ask that You restore his mind, bringing balance, peace, and kindness where there is turmoil. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of confusion, anger, and mockery in Jesus’ name, for we know that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray against any dark influences or witchcraft that may be at work, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every evil spirit to flee in the name of Jesus Christ.
We also lift up this precious mother, a faithful daughter of God who has shown compassion to those in need. Father, we ask that You strengthen her and grant her wisdom as she navigates this difficult situation. If it is Your will, we pray for her deliverance from this living situation, that she may find peace and joy in her life. Your Word promises that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Give her the courage to set boundaries if necessary, and surround her with Your protection and love.
Lord, we ask that You soften this brother’s heart toward You. His mockery of the Lord grieves our spirits, for we know that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is a serious matter (Mark 3:29). Yet, we also know that You are a God of mercy and grace, and we pray that he would come to repentance and find salvation in You. Break the chains of darkness that bind him, and let Your light shine into his life.
We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we stand in faith, believing that Your healing power is at work. We pray for restoration, reconciliation, and peace to reign in this home. Father, give this sister the strength to trust in You fully, knowing that You are her refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God is working even when circumstances seem impossible. Lean on His promises and seek His wisdom through prayer and the reading of His Word. If possible, encourage your mother to seek godly counsel and support from her local church community, as we are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). May the Lord grant you both peace and strength as you wait on Him.
